“Ringer receptionen på morgonen och frågar när dom stänger frukosten. Vi vaknade sent det var nyårsdagen. Dom säger 10.00 och vi ringer 20 min innan. Vi packar ihop och lämnar hotellet. När vi går förbi frukosten sitter det folk inne i resturangen 11.00. Inte bra service in mina ögon hos en toppklass restaurang. ”

“This was my favorite place to stay so far the whole trip. We have been on the road for 4 weeks. It was cozy, beautiful, comfortable, and thank goodness they had a back way into the hotel. I was on crutches. My husband said it was his favorite also.”

“This is very good for being a motel, has everything you need but for breakfast but a really nice cafe just down the road easily made up for that. Tea and coffe provided and a box of fresh milk was handed over on check in. Room has fridge and microwave so you could fix your own meals but I didn't. Close to center of town with buses 5 min or walkimg 20 min. Would stay again.”

“Swanky!! Amazing 1 night stay, wish we could be there longer.”

“8 bed dorm was really spacious. Loved the curtains, really made it feel cosy and cocoonlike. Comfy duvet and pillow and CLEAN. Super warm too, really felt like a home away from home. The staff, especially Martin, was really helpful. Would stay again when I’m back in Dunedin.”

“I would highly recommend the Motel on York. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, and it was just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The service was excellent and the rooms were very clean”

“Fantastic hotel with nice staff. Room was great.”

“Fräsht och modernt. Mysigt!”

“Rummet var rent och fräscht. Personalen vänlig. Läget var mycket centralt. Utsikten var det enda som var dåligt, ingen alls. ”

“Great place! Room very comfortable, private bathroom and shared kitchen. The owner lives in site very friendly and made excellent Mexican dishes. Will definitely be back! Cheers K. Logan Belleville, Ontario Canada”

“Very nice motel and good location with walking distance to the center. The place was clean and staff was very helpful. We arrived quite late and we got instructions via email where to find the key etc. which we very much appreciated.”

“Nice clean room. Nice building. Nice hosts. Parking a bit awkward for larger vehicle as small parking space but it's an old building so can understand. One night parked in the street but another night managed to get into the car park, with 1cm away from the wall. Would recommend.”

“Very welcoming & hospitable staff. Great location to walk the beautiful University of Otago campus & head to Forysth Barr Stadium for a rugby match.”

“Motel bien situé, calme. Apt propre avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner.”

“Vi hade det jättebra, hotellet var mycket mer välutrustat än vi förväntat oss med mycket köksartiklar, värmare osv. Bra läge, gångavstånd till restauranger och centrum och väldigt trevlig personal. ”

“Fräscht rum!”
