The place is simple and suitable for no more than three people. Everything is at a Dollarama-level quality. The bed linens were not as clean as they should have been, and we found hair strands everywhere. The quality of the bedding leaves much to be desired. Everything is made of synthetic fabric, stained, and not properly cleaned. The sofa bed has an extremely soft mattress that hurts your back more than it allows your body to rest comfortably. The host is extremely attentive and tries to help at all times. The place is quiet and serves its purpose. Overall, it is a 3-star place with 2-star amenities and 5-star customer service.

It is a basement apartment with fairly steep stairs to go down to living area but it was clean and comfortable for sleeping. The kitchen and linens are well stocked. The host was attentive to any inquiries we had.

Une maison agé mais l'appartement à été rénové. Beaucoup de matériel à notre disposition et identifier. Cartier vieux et semble défavorisés. Stationnement petit mais sur la propriété. Globalement c'étais bien!

The host was super responsive and accommodating. The kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked. The linens were white and clean. Although the exterior/neighborhood looks a bit run down, we never felt unsafe and the location was amazingly central!

A very cute and cozy apartment - solid location, very close to the Bluesfest music festival and only a short bus ride from Ottawa. A little far from food, groceries, etc but was easy enough to plan into our bus trips out to the city during the day. Great (and fast) communication from the host as well.

Easy, Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed the property. Was close to downtown and a very clean, well equip unit. Mesac was great in helping us with check-in, a parking issue and Internet access. Would recommend if you want something efficient and close to museums and downtown.

Gatineau Visit in July

The house was conveniently located in Gatineau very close to the bridge to Ottawa. The property also included off street parking. The door to the house was on the side of the building and near trash bins, so not that convenient. And the entrance to the space was a steep stairway. But the actual space was quite nice with a full kitchen that was well stocked, living room, and comfortable bedroom. The bathroom had a few issues with the shower. But the communication with the owner was great and his hospitality was great. Really enjoyed my stay there to visit Ottawa.

Amazing apartment, 30 mins walk into centre of Ottawa

The area is OK and there was spilled rubbish on the overgrown path when we arrived. I was a little worried. However, once inside, this is a great apartment! The fan in the bedroom kept us cool at night, the kitchen had everything we needed and more and we took advantage of having a washing machine and dryer. We walked across the bridge into the city. There are no supermarkets nearby, just corner shops which sells the basics.

Easy stay

My brother and I flew in from Vancouver and stayed there for a week due to a family medical emergency. Arriving already stressed, we were grateful for the little touches the manager of this property provided, making our stay simple, easy and comfortable. There was coffee, condiments, all the cooking supplies we needed. I had even made an error on our booking and had booked an extra day, which the (very responsive) owner promptly refunded without skipping a beat. The place is modest, but very efficient and super clean, stocked with everything you need. We will book this again without hesitation!

As good as one can expect from a short term rental

The place was immaculate, the owner communicated well and was pleasant to deal with, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook a meal (except food, of course, though there were yummy complementary snacks). There was plenty of towels, bedding, sleep spaces, etc. The location is ok. It's not the most beautiful neighbourhood, but there is a fun park a short walk away that my kids enjoyed and it's a short drive to downtown Ottawa. All around great experience, especially for the price. One thing to note: if you are bringing a toddler, you may want to bring a baby gate as there is a staircase.
