  • Läs - För säsongen 2018 använde vi en tredje part för att hantera vår egendom och tyvärr var tjänsten inte bra för våra gäster eller för oss som husägare. Våra recensioner har alltid varit starka men de torkades bort när vi bytte till tredje part. Vi är tillbaka 2019 och hanterar fastigheten själva och hoppas också kunna få återkommande gäster och nya glada gäster. Nytt år 2019 - ny eldstad, nya madrasser i hela och en king size-säng i sovrummet

    Sea Rose Cottage ligger i en vacker, lugn miljö i den pittoreska byn Owls Head, en viktig Maine kuststad. Owls Head General Store, Light House och State Park ligger inom gångavstånd och hemmet har utsikt över Owls Head Harbor. Cyklar, grill och hummer spis på plats - bara gå över gatan till kajen och plocka upp några färska Maine hummer.

    Downtown Rockland är en 10-minuters bilresa med många restauranger och butiker att bläddra igenom. Med Farnsworth Museum, Lighthouse Museum, Owls Head Transportation Museum, stränder och många andra attraktioner i närheten kommer du inte att bli uttråkad!

    Privata båtturer och hummertransporter finns tillgängliga på begäran och mot en extra avgift. Owls Head Harbor har en båtlansering tillgänglig.

Family time on the coast

The cottage was in a beautiful location, fully furnished with everything we needed and had more room than we needed!! We enjoyed spending time in Rockland and Camden. Would definitely recommend for a quiet, relaxing retreat.

This house is like going to grandmas. It was so charming. It was clean and the location is perfect. The only thing that might be a negative to someone is the bathroom is upstairs which was not an issue for us at all. I would definitely recommend.

Peaceful retreat

Wonderful property for a quiet retreat. Comfortable living room and great outdoor space on both the deck and around the fire pit. Remodeled bathroom has large shower. A cozy home that is just minutes away from shops and restaurants in Rockland. We had a wonderful visit and would definitely recommend this property for its location and serenity.

Short but sweet

Stayed just for an overnight, but it was super relaxing. We (family of 5) all had room to stretch and relax after a long drive. Location was great and right down the street from the lighthouse and the Harbor Park. Inside was extremely cozy and cute. Only issue was where to put our trash on the way out, but the owners were quick to respond to my question and it was an easy fix. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful old maine home..rustic and so comfy.Very clean, cozy, ocean side home…. Everything you need for a short or long stay.. Enjoyed the area and of course the great fire pit area. Such a warm and cozy home, even at less than 20degrees:) loved our long stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants a beautiful place to vacation..

Amazing quiet location walking distance to Owl's Head Light

We loved staying here because of the location. Lighthouse, beaches, buying lobster right out of the ocean, sunrise and sunset ocean views, a quaint general store... were all within walking distance. 15 min drive to Rockland, the art capital of Maine. Everything at the house was as described.

Charming cottage

Wonderfully, charming cottage! The house had ample beds and spaces to sit and read or watch TV. Deck is spacious and there is a spot to build a fire. Close walk to a cute little lighthouse and up the street from the Owls head general store! House was comfortable and we’ll be sure to return when we are back in the area!

Great location if your looking for seafood, lobster facility across street that will sell lobsters right off the boat, very quiet street, lots of seafood restaurants all around, light house adventures one on the same road as this home. The only downfall about this property is there is only 1 bathroom and its on the second floor with bedrooms other than that it was fantastic, also transportation museum on route 73 about 4 miles from home lots to see there also. It is and older home with a huge yard to play games in we played jarts and bocce had a great time with grandchildren.

Very cute place!

The pictures are accurate and this place is lovely. Owners were very quick to respond to communication, and I didn’t have any problems during my visit, but if I had, it was nice to know they were on top of the correspondence. The only thing I would mention is that the bathroom is on the second floor and the shower door can be difficult to open, so if someone in your group has mobility issues, this might not be the place for you.

Picturesque Owls Head!

Beautiful property on level grassy lawn about 1/4 mile from the Owls Head General store and Lobster Pound. House has that old Maine camp feel but very charming. Nice large deck for enjoying reading and taking in the setting. Large living room, dbl bedroom downstairs and 2 good sized bedrooms on the second floor. We enjoyed biking and walking around the area. It's an easy walk to the Owls Head Lighthouse, great location. Thanks so much to owners for a fun stay!!

Our family visited Maine for the first time and this area was simply delightful. The lighthouse and general store are within walking distance which was a huge plus! Rockport, Rockland & Camden we’re within easy drive. The house is super cute. Kitchen is small and the lighting wasn’t great but not a big deal. Comfortable beds and nice shower. Tons of books throughout and even board/card games. Fire pit was an added bonus.

Very relaxing

Three of us stayed at this cabin for 3 nights in early July. It was a great location to see a lot of what we wanted to see in Rockland, Camden and Thomaston. We did a sunset cruise on A Morning in Maine sailboat that was amazing, and only 10 minutes drive. The house had comfy beds and a great deck for stargazing at night (with bug spray - lots of mosquitos!). Only issue we had was that the house got quite warm after a few 80 degree days, but we contacted the owner and were provided fans.
