Terrific family stay
Location, location, location! Just a 5-minute walk to beautiful Silver Strand beach. The home was about perfect for four couples & one kid. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and 2 have king-sized beds. There’s a large gathering space on the upper floor that was very comfortable. Big kitchen/well appointed.

Great beachside stay
Spacious home. Casual and clean. Comfy beds. Had 1 request and 1 question for owner during our stay; they responded within minutes - excellent. Great walkable neighborhood. Amazing proximity to beach, harbor, restaurants. Would stay again!

Family getaway
First day no electricity in one of the lower bdrms. Second morning no hot water throughout house. Third morning overflowing toilet in another lower bdrm which after plumber left we had to clean up and do laundry so we might have some extra towels. Expect to live out of your suitcases because two bdrms have no drawers and the drawers in the third lower bdrm are in closet whose doors barely slide. Upstairs in the kitchen/living area you also need to keep your foodstuffs in bags because no where to put it it. The table area was used for storage. There are plenty of plates, cups and silverware but as far as a well stocked kitchen it’s not. No mixing bowls, plenty of lids with no bottoms, etc. The laminate cupboards are peeling. As for cleanliness, outdoors pretty much nothing is cleaned. Indoors basically the pathways where you walk are probably cleaned but outside of that not. Dead spiders were seen along the baseboards which probably haven’t been been cleaned in ages. Well before covid I’m sure. My daughter and her guest ended up getting a hotel room 15 min away after the toilet debacle. I’m not really sure why guests are even charged a cleaning fee. It is close to a sandy beach and does have a nice bbq, just bring your own baster. Overall I feel Vrbo did us wrong on this one and need to present current pictures of property to prospective renters and not lie when describing it

Great Place
Great place for a large family. Each of the 4 bedrooms had a full bathroom, tv and a ceiling fan which was nice. Had all the amenities we needed in the kitchen. Short walk to the beach in the nice quiet neighborhood. We even got to see all the sea lions on the beach at the harbor. A little wear and tear on the beach house and some not so tidy rooms but all and all a nice place to stay.

Silver Strand Beach House
This property is exactly as described. It is equipped with everything you would have in your own home to cook meals for the entire family. And there are even chairs and toys to use at the beach! We were very comfortable and enjoyed every minute of our time there. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

Spring Break

Our nice had her wedding in nearby Camarillo so the family from out of town stayed with us at the beach house. The amenities and accommodations were perfect for the 10 of us. Nice walks on the beach. Great space for visiting and getting ready for the wedding.

Weekend getaway in a great way
Our weekend getaway at the beach house was amazing! A a present to our children, the house was exactly what our entire family needed. We have three kids, two married and one grandchild each. Having plenty of room for each to have their own room and bathroom was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped and the less than one block to the beach was great for when we wanted to play. The check in and out instructions were simple and the communication was prompt and appreciated. We went for morning walks or runs, ate at The Strandwich and supported the corner market. We loved the quietness and quaintness of Silver Strand beach and hope to return again in the future to see other sights of the area which we couldn’t fit into our weekend.

Our Thanksgiving reunion
The Ocean Breeze beach house was a perfect location for the six of us. Everyone appreciated having their own bedroom and particularly their own bathroom. The open family room allowed us to be together to eat, watch television, talk and/or enjoy the outside terrace. I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen which I used to make our Thanksgiving meal. In addition the location was such a short walk to the beach we were able to enjoy sunrises and sunsets.

Wonderful Home in Perfect Location
This was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing weekend at the beach with family. The hosts made the entire process a breeze and everything at the home is so well thought out. We loved having the warm outdoor shower after the beach, and then everyone being able to go into their own bedroom and private bathroom. The kitchen and living room was open and inviting, and everything was very clean and comfortable. It was just a short walk to the end of the street and we were at the beach - didn’t even use the stroller once! We cannot wait to come back, and hope to make this an annual tradition!

The neighbors don’t like noise
We stayed with family and had four adults and 5 children at the start of summer. We received a noise complaint at 9:00 as we were finishing up s’mores with the kids. We were not that loud. No music. Just 5 kids under 10 enjoying their summer. We would not recommend it to families with small children.

Photos don't do it justice!
We booked this property for a family vacation, and it was perfect. We had 10 people total, 5 adults and 5 children, 3 of the children are teens. The upstairs bedroom was a wonderful hangout spot for them! And all of us adults had our own bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. Plenty of room for everyone. It is SUCH a gorgeous home, the pictures do not do it justice. The outdoor shower to rinse off after spending a day at the beach was very convenient! It was just a 2 to 3 minute walk and your toes are in the sand. We visit Santa Barbara and Ventura annually, and have never been to The Strand until this trip. We fell in love with this beach! And community. We will definitely be back. The host was very quick to respond whenever we had questions. The home was VERY clean, no issues at all. We loved sitting out by the fire making s'mores and hearing the waves. Everything was perfect.

Great beach house minutes from the beach! We could hear the ocean from any open window. Loved that each bedroom had its private full bath. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare from the smallest snack, to a full meal. Our kids and grandkids also enjoyed the stay, there was room for everyone!

Lovely beach home
Staying in the Ocean Breeze Beach Home was delightful. It's clean, bright, and inviting. The patio and grill were so nice for enjoying meals and relaxing outdoors. All the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, the open kitchen and living room with the bar area were really nice, and the overall feel of the home was relaxing and inviting. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and stores and restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive. Hearing the National Anthem play from the Naval base across the way was an unexpected treat. Lovely beach property!

Great beach house get-away
We loved our stay at this lovely beach house. It had plenty of space and was well-equipped for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. The location is fantastic, and just a short walk to the beautiful Silver Strand beach. The kitchen was a great spot in the house and we spent a lot of time cooking, chatting and enjoying the space after the children went to bed. Super handy having the gas bbq grill too. Relaxing & Roomy!
My family came together for some fun & relaxation! This property was perfect. It is decorated like you would expect for a beach house & had plenty of room for more than our group of nine. Loved the quiet beach just a short walk away & little shops/restaurants but also appreciated being 10 minutes from larger grocery store & restaurants. Definitely recommend this property!

Family Fun at the Ocean Breeze
We absolutely loved our stay at the Ocean Breeze! 12 of us slept comfortably there without ever feeling crowded. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom, which allowed everyone their own personal space. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole house was tastefully decorated and kid friendly. The beach was an easy walk away, and a great little shower on the outside of the house allowed us to get the sand off before going inside. Arlina, the owner, responded within minutes to our questions and was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this house again if we ever visit Silver Strand Beach in the future.

Loved the place!
Loved dealing with Arlina! The place was very clean, check-in and check-out was easy- we were there for a graduation and 12 of us fit perfectly. Comfortable, beautiful and convenient
This house is one of the best I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a lot of rentals. The house is extremely comfortable 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms privacy is never an issue. Beautiful decorated, with a fully stocked kitchen, bar and living space we lacked for nothing. Conveniently located shops, grocery stores and the beach were all just a stones throw away. I would most surely reccommend this home and hope to stay again.

Great family holiday house
The house was wonderful! Plenty of room for all of us, with a fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were so nice, and we really appreciated a bathroom for each bedroom. The house was not as clean as we had hoped, and there were full garbage bags left outside throughout our stay. We also discovered that the fan/heating system was efficient, but pretty loud. It was nice to have WiFi and tv’s, even though the main tv didn’t work when we first arrived. Luckily my son in law figured it out so we could enjoy shows for the kids. The location was wonderful, just steps from the beach. We really enjoyed the beach chairs, toys, and outside shower provided. The tile floors were easy to clean up, and we really enjoyed the updates throughout the house. The washer and dryer were a real plus. And the living room furniture was so comfy! We loved the two leather recliner chairs. A great beach house for a holiday with family!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely beach house. The pictures on the website are just as advertised. House is spacious and attractively decorated (bathrooms are gorgeous and beds are very comfortable)…there was more than enough room for our needs. Beach is close by and the several times we went there, we had no problems finding great (and not crowded) spots. The outdoor shower is such a plus when returning from beach. House is not too far from shops and restaurants (even had food delivered 1st night there). The home has some extras to help make a beach vacation easier - boogie boards, sand toys, chairs, etc. which kids loved. It has everything you need to BBQ, cook and, what we did most, simply relax. For you TV watchers, there’s a TV in every room! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Arlina & Robert for your hospitality.

Beautiful Home
The house was well decorated and spacious and clean and in that respect, was above and beyond. The location was great and only a short walk to a wonderful beach. There was only a couple of things that prevented me from giving it five stars. There was a weird house fan that you couldn't turn off that was noisy and no screens to open windows or sliders. Fresh air at the beach would be nice.

our stay at the ocean breeze beach home was just right for our extended family. All four bedrooms had its own bath. A big plus as far as I was concerned. The a/c w dual zones for up and down stairs really worked and kept every one happy in all four bedrooms . I have stayed in fancier beach houses were the a/c was just circulating the air w no cooling. The furnishings and layout of the house was relatively kid friendly. another big plus as we did not have to deal with moving delicate stuff to safety. or worry about long tall stairways for kids to deal with . The main living area is all upstairs and all open to the kitchen. Making it easier to keep eyes and kids be social. We were easily able to cook all our meals there with the fully stocked kitchen .even had some extra paper plates ,towel and spices and condiments. As far as location goes the walk down the short street to the beach entrance was a easy 2 or 3 min walk and from there it was a little further than that to the ocean. Overall the place had a low key relaxing feel to it. The owners were easy to work with and keep me relaxed and just helped make the trip easy.
