“We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!”

“What a perfect trip. This location was great for us, we loved the little trail to the water also. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The hardest part about staying in rental homes is you never know what they have, well, they have it all! We will absolutely stay again.”

“The 2 of us came up here with our 2 dogs for a long weekend. The cabin was just as pictured and had everything we needed from a fan in the master to toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels and the gas grill was even ready to go! “Waking up here for a week was wonderful! This stay checked a lot of boxes for us and was a great place for us to get out and explore a large portion of the U.P. The wonderful back porch and patio areas are the highlight of this property, with the gorgeous Pine River and a busy beaver to watch, the mornings here were wonderful. “The property was just as listed. Nice space for a large group of women. We didn't need to use the cute little stove as the weather was warm. Two of us used the screened-in porch as a bedroom--such a nice view of the stars and great breezes! Kitchen was perfect for light cooking--everything there for our needs. Plenty of towels! “There were 5 couples in our group who stayed at this house. Each person had nothing but good things to say about the house, the property, and the area. “My family and I book a week long stay in the UP every year, we usually pick a new area to explore. This year's vacation was very disappointing. The bugs were absolutely awful, and trust me I know the UP has bugs, but it was to the point of we couldn't even be outside even with bug spray on. I wish the owners would spray/fog regularly to help with this. Also the paddle boat and canoe were both dirty with bugs and bird poop to the point of us have to clean before use, we left the canoe alone after...
