âA really fabulous place to stay in Castelsardo. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Room was very spacious with a balcony. Beds were very comfortable. Great bathroom. Breakfast was provided. The hotel is situated 2 minutes from the bus stop and close to great bars and restaurants. The old town is a 10 minute walk away and worth visiting. Definitely worth a few days visit. Checkin was easy and efficient. Really enjoyed our stay hereâ

âWe stayed for a week at Hotel Gabbiano in Isola Rossa and the stay was just perfect. THe hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and always tried their best to understand us, even though we did not speak a word of Italian. The room was very clean and neat, and the breakfast was good. The location of the hotle was perfect; very close to the beach but yet quiet. We definitely will go back to this hotel and strongly recommed it to others.â
âWe stayed in one of their comfort rooms which seemed to recently been renovated. It gave a very fresh and clean appearance in comparison to other hotels in Sardinia that we stayed at. Helpful staff. Breakfast with a view of the mountains. However breakfast in Sardinia (which applies to this hotel aswell) is not like the intercontinental breakfast you would get in other countries. "This hotel needs to update their pictures on the hotels.com website. It looked nothing like the pictures.
It felt like we where staying at an institution or a hospital. The hall ways where dreadful, the elevators system made no sense and you could hear through the walls.
There was no back yard, the breakfast was horrible. The hotels uses so much plastic, no thought has been taken into consideration when it comes to sustainability. Which is such a pity as they have such a precious island.
The staff working during the breakfasts service where not on their toes, looked like they just wanted to go home and did the bare minimum.
