Thanks, yes due to covid and hard to find tradesman there was a delay in upgrading but we will be able to fix things properly this winter all going well.

The rooms were comfortable - the space was clean - the hosts were amazing and friendly - and the wifi was great. Wendy the host - even gave us milk for our coffee - and we could do our laundry there too.

The managers where very aweosme to us despite some of the ups and downs they put up with they managed things very well...xxx the managers are good as gold and keep there building and property very well maintained i loved the historical nature and that almost everything is original it surely does love up to its name xx😍🤗

A relaxed motel just a short walk from town. Could do with an update but is comfortable enough for a few days.

The apartment has recently been refurbished - painted shades of grey with Ice blue cushions - new curtains - lounge furniture are collectors items. Dining chairs are new and made in Italy. Beds are new and there are some new paintings. Most people seem to like the unit but can't please everyone.

The motel is superbly located about 50 meteres from Pahia beach but tucked away down a slop and quiet.Rooms are a decent size with goos amenities. No view of the sea but look out onto the biggest bottle brush ever full of monarch butterflies and bees. Motel has been here for a while and not much has changed. Parking is underneath and pillars are not for the faint hearted.

少し古い建物でしたが、部屋は広くて綺麗でした。 オーナーの方はとてもフレンドリーで彼らの犬も紹介してくれました。家族で行くには良い施設でした。海は歩いてすぐでレストラン、カフェ、コンビニもすぐ近くにありました。

Comfortable and Convenient
Comfortable motel, rooms all upstairs, parking below. Large room with balcony, clean, well equipped and comfortable although decor a bit outdated. No air conditioning but quiet fan supplied. Very central- close to walk to beach, restaurants, shops and tour boats. Only downside was some road noise and partying heard at night and needed to keep windows/patio doors closed.(Stayed during Witangi celebrations) Owners helpful and friendly. Pleasant 2 night stay

Perfectly situated
Very nicely situated a few metres from Paihia beach and 8 minutes walk fro the passenger ferry to Russell. Although hot weather, it was nice not to have aircon as the apartment was so well ventilated with fresh air.

Good location with reasonable comfort
Room was comfortable, location was very good. Bathroom could have a renovation, towels were a bit worn out. Limited wifi, which was a problem with the 4G network clogged. Good value for the money for New Years Eve, but you can find better in Paihia during the rest of the season

Within walking distance to wharf and town centre. Parking was a bit tight for our SUV. The unit was a bit dated but this was reflected in the nightly rate so was excellent value for money. The unit had everything we needed and was kept immaculately clean and in good working order. The staff were ultra friendly. Would definitely stay there again

Spacious cosy boutique style
Its a great place for the budget, really has a boutique feeling into it. We stayed in the biggest unit with my family, beds were super comfy and clean, spacious place with full kitchen and big fridge. There is a room to get some renovation done to this place to makes it perfect. Bathroom shower really basic. Main thing is the host is super friendly, with a great vibe. It was really quiet and close to main street while being away from the crowd. Overall a great stay for a family on budget.

Comfortable hotel close to the Paihia beach.
This hotel is within walking distance to all of Paihia's key features and provides a great base from which to explore the Bay of Islands. Room size is good with the kitchenette quite functional. The owners and cleaning staff are very friendly and supportive, and the undercover car parking was a real bonus in a sub-tropical climate area. The Bay of Islands is a very special place to visit with its great climate and many fine beaches within a short drive or boat ride. It has a good range of tours and adventure activities, plus fantastic historical and cultural experiences available.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient stay
Our 4 night stay at Alfa gave us a good base for exploring Northland. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The unit was clean and comfortable albeit the decor was a little dated. It was a short easy walk around the corner onto the waterfront road to information site, wharf, shops restaurants and cafes. Value for price per night compared with other Local options at the time we booked.

Room n bathroom were outdated. Room carpet smelt funny. Located at the corner of the street. Main town is just 5 mins away by walk. We were hardly in the room anyways. Too expensive but I guess it was season time.

Carpets have been recently shampooed but we do not always know if some guest has spilled something on floor. Have not smelt anything recently.

Nice hotel close to beach
Hotel is in a good location, just off the main beach in Paihia. Apartment was a good size for our family of 4, and well equipped, just a little dated. Wifi was accessed through vouchers which didn't always work very well.
