“This is the worst 5 star hotel I have been to in all my years of travelling. This hotel deserves a maximum of 3 stars. The room is the only positive thing about the hotel as it was reasonably fresh. However, the beds were hard. The food is a disaster. It is the same food in the main buffet every day. The only thing that is varied are the sauces for the meat itself. Most of the meat was pork, so there wasn't much else to choose from. Tired of the food after just a few days as there is no variety...

“I have just stayed at the senseana resort for 5 days.
Upon arrival the hotel staff couldn’t be more accommodating, they are all very friendly and could help you enough, they are what make you feel like you are at home!
The one only thing I think that let’s this hotel down is the food served, it was quite a limited choice for main meals and snacks, although the food served was very nice. Apart from this 5* all day long.
I will be returning in the future

We travelled as a family and it was our 1st time in Crete and an adults only Hotel, our whole experience was outstanding from the moment we arrived at the hotel till the day of leaving. “Det var ett superfint och nyrenoverat hotel med trevlig personal. Poolen var fantastiskt den ända nackdelen är att de var lite få solstolar och det var näst intill omöjligt att få plats då folk paxade. Maten var helt okej oftast, ibland kanske de dock gjorde det lite för ”komplicerat” utifrån deras egna förmåga (till exempel asiatisk buffé kväll som va lite sådär). Men för priset var all inclusive absolut värt! Rummet var fint och praktiskt, sängarna och kuddarna var lite hårda för min smak men...

"We stayed at the resort for 10 days and overall had a good stay — but it’s not a 5-star resort. The place feels quite run-down, especially the rooms, which haven’t been renovated in many years.
Pros:
- Very friendly and helpful staff.
- Beautiful and well-maintained surroundings.
- We were quickly offered a new room when we asked. Highly recommend choosing one with a sea view — others can have a very dull view.
- There’s a cozy little backyard area behind Rodius where you can enjoy a drink in the evening. Sadly, it’s often empty since it’s far from the main restaurant.
- For the price per night, comparing to many other resort, it is priceworthy.
Cons:
- The lifeguards are overly strict. I made a small dive in the pool and was immediately whistled at — very uncomfortable. I wasn’t the only one who noticed; several guests felt the same.
- The rooms and parts of the hotel feel outdated and in need of renovation.
- Half board only includes the main buffet restaurant. Although the buffet is pretty good for being a buffet.
Tips:
- Rent a car if you want to explore! Avoid Hersonissos — we recommend Piskopiano instead. If you’re traveling with kids, visit Acqua Water Park (5 mins away). For a great beach nearby, go to Potamos.

"Bra beläget hotell i centrala Heraklion.
Vi hade ett rum på plan 1 vilket är 2 trappor upp från markplan/receptionen.
Rummet var lagom stort, men badrummet hade kunnat vara lite större då handfatet var placerat utanför badrummet. Väggarna var ganska tunna vilket gjorde att man hörde väl när någon pratade i korridoren utanför. Förutom det hade vi en väldigt bra vistelse på hotellet. Allt var rent och fräscht inne på rummet.
Frukosten på morgonen var fantastisk med det mesta man kan tänka sig till en frukost. Allting var fräscht och gott! Takterrassen och poolen var i toppskick också."
