PortaFelice är en stor (170 kvm) och ljus lägenhet på 5: e våningen i en prestigefylld samtida arkitekturbyggnad belägen i en av de vackraste torgen i Palermo stadskärna. Lägenheten har en unik utsikt över havet och en stor privat terrass för exklusiv användning av gästerna.

Palazzo Amoroso, i piazzetta Spirito Santo n ° 10, färdig 1974, är ett prestigefyllt projekt av den berömda BBPR-gruppen som vid tre tillfällen har haft möjlighet att driva i Palermo (huvudkontor för den italienska handelsbanken och huvudkontoret för Giornale di Sicilia). Bostadsområdet stiger ur askan av ett existerande barockpalats som förstördes av bombningarna av andra världskriget, varav portalen är klokt bevarad, klokt inuti den nya fasaden

Lägenheten är fullt möblerad med värdefulla möbler och utrustade med allt som behövs för en bekväm vistelse. De viktigaste rummen har utsikt över terrassen som omger lägenheten, och från detta får du tillgång till den underbara solterrassen på taket av byggnaden för exklusiv användning av gästerna. Dess position ger en unik utsikt över Porta Felice, på havshästens suggestiva fontän, på strandpromenaden (kursiv forum) och på hela golfen i staden.

We couldn’t have been more pleased with this apartment. Walking distance to everything. The space is amazing and everything was as described. As mentioned in previous reviews, the hosts are very generous with amenities. Breakfast items, coffee and tea, and water are left for your use. The weather was not nice enough to use the outdoor space but it is beautiful. The apartment has views of the harbor and you can see cruise ships coming into port. I was traveling with my adult daughter and we enjoyed the ability to visit markets and then cook some meals. Giovanni had recommendations for restaurants and was able to arrange a very fair price for private transportation to and from the airport. There was everything we needed for this two week stay and even took advantage of the washing machine. The apartment is immaculate. Do not hesitate to book this apartment. You will not be disappointed!

When Giovanni met us upon arrival, he gave us a thorough tour and recommendations for restaurants, etc. He assured us that he was available for any questions/concerns. And he was! He was very responsive and helpful.The apartment was well stocked - better than most of the other rentals we’ve had. It was spacious and attractive. The rooftop terrace overlooking the harbor was a bonus. We had a good time in Palermo and were comfortable in our apartment.

The best vacation rental we've ever stayed at

This apartment is far and away the best vacation rental we've stayed at. The location is perfect for exploring Palermo on foot.The terrace and balcony is simply spectacular.The apartment is as if it were your own home... but without the clutter! Everything we could possibly want or need was provided. Giovanni was great. He met us on arrival, responded instantly to any inquiries, and arranged transfers to the airport. We wish we could have stayed longer!

This is the PERFECT SPOT in Palermo. The space was so great. The hosts left a WONDERFUL welcome basket of coffee, breakfast items and wine. And provided a restaurant guide which was so helpful. The location is perfect to all of old town.The terrace and rooftop area (private to only you) are amazing. We made dinner one night and ate on the rooftop (unforgettable).Apartment was spacious, beds very comfortable, and very clean.The host were so kind and attentive.We wish every rental was this good.

Molto bene!

This apartment was perfect for our trip to Palermo. It is centrally located, with restaurants, grocery stores and shopping nearby. The view of the harbor from the deck and roof is gorgeous. The apartment is very spacious,with plenty of room for 4 adults (maybe even a couple more!). It was immaculately clean and well-stocked with everything we could possibly need for our stay....Giovanni even left a basket of snacks and several large bottles of water for us in the kitchen, which, after a long travel day was greatly appreciated. Best of all, Giovanni was a pleasure to work with, he even greeted us in the apartment when we got there. He stayed in touch with us during our visit to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend this property, as I would definitely stay here again!

Great host and location. Beautiful view and proximity to everything.

Giovanni was an attentive host from pre-booking all the way thru check-out. He was always available when we needed him and provided a lovely home. The place is HUGE. As a couple, we often got lost - lol. Originally booked for a larger group so would have been nice to share the apartment with more people so felt like a mansion for 2 people. Only thing for big groups to know is both bathrooms require access thru the bedrooms, so if you’re not close with the person in the 3rd bedroom coming thru your room to use the bathroom then this may not be for you. There were also some times when the street was loud at night but Giovani provided ear plugs if you need them. The beds were comfortable and we slept extremely well. Was also nice to have a secure parking space for our rental. I would highly recommend this apartment and would stay again.

Fantastic Stay at Porta Felice Apt

My wife and my grown son spent two weeks in Palermo and made this wonderful apartment our home base. Geovani arranged for us to be picked up at the airport by Vincenso (who we used several times for trips to Segesta and Agrigento.) The apartment is stunning: the view, the location, the museum quality furnishings. Everything was more than we expected. The location made it easy to get to the grocery store (a 5 minute walk to Famila) and to at least a dozen excellent coffee shops and restaurants in the vicinity. A 10 minute walk takes you to the redeveloped Palermo waterfront with its excellent new restaurants and promenade. It's maybe 15 minutes to walk to the Quatro Conti. The property itself could not have been nicer. Geovani and Marina (his mom) made sure we had coffee, ice (we American's have a thing about ice...) and basics. They arranged to have the place cleaned after week one, while we were out on an excursion.Can't say enough nice things about the apartment, the hosts and the location. We feel we got a bargain and would go there again.

The perfect apartment in Palermo

Giovanni's apartment was everything we needed for our 7 day stay in Palermo. Ideally located in the characterful old part of town whilst also having amazing views of the bustling harbour. Giovanni was a superb host; being ever helpful, knowledgable and considerate. The apartment could not be faulted in any way. It was extremely well equipped, spacious, comfortable and everything worked, including the excellent air conditioning. It is perhaps the best city centre apartment we've stayed in. Highly recommended for the ideal break in Palermo.

Absolutely Perfect

Cleanest VRBO I have stayed at. Equipped with all that you need. The roof deck is a great plus. Great location and Giovanni gives a good description where everything is located when you check in. Be sure to visit Palazzo Butera very close by. It is a living museum. Favorite restaurants nearby were Quattro Mani and Davina Di Gusto where you will dine outside

Summer vacation

Giovanni and his family were wonderful hosts!! The apartment is beautiful with an amazing view!! Many restaurants within walking distance with amazing food ! Mondello beach just a short ride away and I highly recommend a visit there !! Overall a wonderful place to stay !!

Our stay was outstanding, the apartment is tremendous, spacious, spotless, air conditioned well equipped with all requirements. Tremendous views, wrap around balcony, rooftop private terrace with 360 superb outlook. The location is first class, minutes away from water front, city center, restaurants, grocery store, and great accessibility to all that makes Palermo a wonderful visit, the train and bus station are a short walk. Absolutely amazing property

From start to finish, we enjoyed every aspect of the stay. Giovanni and Emelia were helpful with anything and everything we needed. From taxi to city driving permits they always responded quickly and made the appropriate arrangements for us. Amazing views of Palermo Harbor

Stop looking elsewhere! This unit is an exceptional spacious apartment. It is located right on Palermo Harbor and has a large private rooftop balcony for viewing harbor ships and activities. It is located right at the end of the exciting historical center so it is an easy walk to restaurants and visitor activities but not in the middle of the chaos! Giovanni is extremely welcoming and ensures that we had everything for a fun and safe adventure in Palermo.

Porta Felice stay

The location of Giovanni’s apartment was perfect with a beautiful view of the port and of the surrounding city of Palermo especially from the rooftop area attached. The apartment was super with everything you need to enjoy your stay in the wonderful city of Palermo. Giovanni’s mother greeted us and took us up to the apartment in the elevator. She showed us everything and even welcomed us with an assortment of goodies: Food, wine and water to start our stay! So nice!! We gave the main bedroom which has a fab view of the port to our friends (we are taking turns choosing). The apartment was built using quality materials and the architect was Giovanni’s grandfather! A short walk to wonderful restaurants and cafes and the Port. The only downsides were a leaking shower in the main. Our ensuite was fine but watch the direction of the shower spray. Some road noise and construction noise but it did not take away our pleasure staying there. Hopefully we will return one day.

Spacious comfortable apartment in historic area

This apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. It was extremely spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The roof terrace is enormous and provides a great view of the sea and port. The wi-fi, heating and hot water all worked well. The hosts were considerate and attentive. The location is in a historic area and there are many restaurants nearby. The neighbourhood felt safe and we had no concerns about going out in the evening. Highly recommended.

Wish I could stay longer!

This apt is huge! The outside wrap around terrace leads you to a large rooftop terrace all your own! Giovanni is wonderful and provided us with a tour of the apt and upon entering we found wine, beer and snacks. The location is perfect! Wish we had booked it for much longer!

Perfect experience

Giovanni and Marina are premier hosts, the apartment was super organized and equipped. Location couldn’t have been better right on edge of Old Town and on the Sea. Views were amazing and walking distance to dozens of great restaurants. Requests and responses were fast and professional. We have done many VRBO stays and strongly recommend Porta Felice!
