“The room smelled like urine, the room door was damages. There was a swarm of flies in the room and in the elevator. They refused to give me a refund because I "was in the room for 1hour", according to the time I checked in. I had a lot of things to unload, had to look for the hotel cart and I tried to get a hold of them over the phone but nobody answered and there was nobody in the lobby. 1 hour is reasonable for unloading, documenting the issues and try to communicate. “Check in was ok, we had a late check in at 12:40 am and front desk sat on her phone for a couple of minutes before I had to get her attention. The building had a horrible smell. We were not able to use the pool because a duck was in it. Floor was very dirty in the room. Breakfast food was not good, scrambled eggs had a rubbery texture and horrible taste, no non dairy milk offered, coffee dispenser served horrible tasting coffee. Not sure how this hotel received a “Good” status on Expedia.”
