Vacker lakeside stuga (Hidden Cove Farmhouse)

  • Inbäddat i de vackra kullarna i Chattahoochee Hills ligger ett vackert bondgård vid sjön. Med sin unika bondgårdlayout och autentiska utomhusmiljö, gör det ett hem hemifrån. Vi designade hemmet för att få en rymlig, inbjudande, hemkänsla. Det finns tre stora sovrum och ett mindre sovrum med bekväma sängar och sängkläder. Det finns tre badrum, ett stort kök modernt kök, två gemensamma utrymmen att mingla och Roku TV i varje rum.
    Utomhus är lika spännande med vilda djur på sjön och trädgården som är anpassad för grillar och eldstad.

You guys went the extra mile. You had snacks, water and even a bottle of wine. The house was stocked with everything you we beeded to cook. It was very clean and room. We had a great stay and hope to come back soon! Thank you!

We had a great time at this adorable home. It was comfortably furnished and spacious enough for our family. The host was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for the local area. We went for a 5 mile hike and had an excellent lunch in Serenbe. We didn't make use of the pond or the dock since it was cold, but I could see that being fun for warmer weather. I would recommend Hidden Cove Farmhouse for anyone looking for a place to stay in this area.

A wonderful find. Comfortable rooms, a great kitchen well stocked for cooking, great laundry room, plentiful parking and quiet location. Very comfortable beds, good showers. Hope to stay again in future.

This was a great little retreat tucked into the woods. The new deck on the lake is relaxing and our kids loved their room and the amount of space they had to play. There is more to the house than appears and even with a family of 5 we didn’t use all the rooms. Very attentive hosts and took care of any issue or concern immediately!

Very enjoyable

The property was well maintained all appliances and furniture were in working order. Beautiful decor and touches of art. (especially in the den area with the double doors) The family especially like that could go fishing.

Cute spot

We stayed here for Chatt Hills eventing and it was a great, close spot. Property manager was quick to respond, cute pond out front, lots of beds (no twin in Master), and had a toaster and coffee pot! Several hotels have vehicles broken into each year here, but this felt much safer tucked away. Would stay here again.

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful home and property. Our teens enjoyed some fishing. The house was very clean and comfortable, but the grass had not been cut, and the outside needs a little maintenance. The manager was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

The 4 bedroom property lived up to its description. Checking in was a breeze. The house had all the amenities, was clean and properly maintained. We would recommend this to our friends in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the cute lakeside cottage. It was very convenient to a wedding we attended at Fox Hall Resort! The house was decorated nicely and had plenty of room to spread out! There were a few things that could have been better like new mattresses for the smaller beds and a full sized working ice maker but overall it was well kept. The yard close to the lake/pond needed some attention. It could really be a beautiful setting with a little more TLC. The check in process was easy and the owner was very prompt in responding. Overall it was a great experience at half the price of the Resort!

To all potential guests: you want to stay here! Book it now. This place will not stay vacant it is so nice.We have been travelling for a few to several months for work over each of the last 5 years. Your home and you personally rank in the top 3 places of the hundreds we have stayed in all that time. From the welcome snacks (yum) and the bottle of wine to the extensive toiletries we felt welcome from the start. The ice machine part of the refrigerator was broken so you had supplied a countertop ice maker before we had even arrived. Then, when the tv decided it wasn't going to work, you had someone come to fix it that same day with no questions asked. Things break, that's just life. It's how you handle it and treat your guests that is what matters. And you did so with grace and immediacy. Everything was so comfortable, especially the beds. We felt truly welcome in your home. The lake front is beautiful and we were able to see some amazing wildlife. I can only hope to come back to the area someday and stay at your residence. Here's to you, Mrs. Washington!!

Not what we expected

Communication: prior to our stay was great. He answered questions promptly. While we did have problems we DID NOT contact the owner about any of the issues below. Location: Difficult to get into and out of, especially at night. The road leading to it is very easily missed, dark, wooded, and a bit overgrown. Cleanliness: Cobwebs were in the dining room table area, upstairs corners and bathrooms. Kitchen floors were not swept. Upstairs tub was dirty and had hair in it. Laundry room still had someone else's clothes in the dryer. Entertainment: wifi did not work for us and we tried both options in the manual. Upstairs TVs controlled each others so my kids could not watch something different from what was playing in the opposite bedroom. Safety: The area is VERY wooded and dark at night. All curtains were sheer and could easily be seen through. Other: Manual said there was complimentary wine which we looked for, but never found. Trash was too be left on the outside trashcan, however to get to it we had to drive with the trash in the vehicle to the trash can at the road.
