âEasy and comfortable stay for a quick one night stay. The staff was accommodating to our early arrival and took into consideration that we had a large event to attend to that day. Property is on a busy street but very quiet and plenty of parking on premises. Tons of grocery stores, restaurants and other convenient shopping in the area within 2-5 min drive. Would stay here again. â

âThis hotel is not fancy, but it was perfect for a one night stay before our cruise. It looks a little rough as you come to it but our room was clean and comfortable and had been updated. The bed was comfortable. The person who checked us in was super helpful and suggested places to eat and explore. We did take public transportation (J line) and then walked about 50 feet to the hotel. And the cruise terminal is about 1 mile (mostly downhill) and easily walkable as well. â
âIn vegas nothing is close. But this suited our needs and everything we needed was nearby. Comfy beds and spacious room. Would def stay here again.â

"Ett boende som fungerar utmÀrkt för en natt mellan tvÄ flygresor. SÄ nÀra terminalen att vi promenerade till hotellet, medan vi tog shutteln tillbaka. Shutteln gick sÄ ofta att det bara var att kliva pÄ direkt efter utcheckning.
BekvÀma sÀngar och stort nog för tvÄ personer. Hade man varit fyra hade det kÀnts trÄngt. Rent och bekvÀma sÀngar. En underlig skjutdörr till badrummet som kÀnsliga personer möjligen kan kÀnna sig obekvÀma med.
Restaurangen var okej med trevlig personal. Lite vÀl stora portioner, i synnerhet nÀr det Àr omöjligt att ta med sig rester. Kan tycka att det var lite dyrt. Motsvarande drygt tusen kronor för en pasta, en burgare, ett glas vin och ett glas vatten. "

"Really nice hotel but canât really see why anyone would like to stay in this part of LA unless your doing business in downtown or have friends to visit there like I had. Downtown LA is not a place to be for tourists if you want to see the best of LA. I felt completely safe though on hotel premises, in my single room I had a safe for my valuables and during day time it is of course safe to walk around on the streets nearby but of course keep out/away from the Skid Row area with all the tents. The homeless people are nice and I never felt threatened but look ahead where you are going on the streets and donât look down into your phone.
Single room with a skyview at almost the top but a 13 floor building wonât give so much skyview at all in downtown LA.
Some reviewers here have praised the shower, I looked into my shower and thought thatâs just a regular shower head but OMG that water pressure was superb!
So I am still recommending this hotel for anyone having a purpose to visit downtown LA (not just random touristing of LA) or a romantic getaway where you want to stay in and old fashioned hotel, enjoy the rooftop bar and going by taxi to a restaurant at the evening when it is dark outside (avoid walking when it is dark!).
The tiles in the bathrooms of my single room was really beautiful and the bed just perfect.
So this hotel canât do much about its surroundings but the historic elevators could get some more love by hotel management.
