Shores of Panama offers a wide variety of thrilling resort amenities for people of all ages to enjoy, including the largest lagoon pool and pool deck in North Florida, an indoor heated pool, and multiple hot tubs. Grab a cool beverage at one of the two tiki bars and lounge on the sundeck all afternoon. The onsite fitness facility is fully stocked with cardio and weight equipment, perfect for staying slim and trim during your beach vacation. Guests are able to reserve a beach bonfire through Light Me Up Beach Bonfires for an additional fee. Make Shores of Panama your next beach vacation!

Cruiser Bikes are now available for day rentals!
You will see their kiosk set up in the portico on the West side.
Day Rentals are $20 for 3 hours or $30 for the day to return by 6 pm. Day Rentals will ensure more guests have access to the bicycles and enhance safety with no riding at night. All bikes have a comfy seat, and most have a basket or cup holder. A helmet and lock are included with each rental. Follow These Rental Instructions: Visit the kiosk, scan the QR Code, input your information, pay, get a bike lock code on your phone, grab a helmet, walk your bike out of the parking garage, and ride safely, when finished: walk your bike into the parking garage, scan a different QR Code to return your bike, and park it so it can be readied for the next rider.

Decent place

This unit has so much potential but the owners need to upgrade the furniture and install a washer/dryer. The couch felt nasty/gross. We had to keep a sheet on it at all times so we didn’t feel like we were sticking to it. Having no washer/dryer at the beach was worst! Families on vacation DO NOT want to go to a laundry mat to have clean/set towels to enjoy the resort and beach! WiFi is wonky and worked off and on the entire visit but wasn’t a big deal since we spent limited time in the condo. Pros: probably one of the best parking spots in the garage. Very close to the room and elevators. Cons: already mentioned This is no fault of the owners/management company but the parking garage and elevators at this property is awful. Make sure you have lots of patience. Overall I rate this 6.5 out of 10. If there was a washer/dryer I would give it 9 even with the couch. We spent 90% of our time on the balcony or in the bed sleeping if we were there.

staycation weekend for mom and dad

good room, the couch and love seat seem a little old and out dated but nothing wrong with it. the bed is a little bouncy, all in all a good room, 4 out 5. the best part is the parking spot for this unit is super close to the condo. its right beside the handicap spot!!

The Good: great location, same level parking (your assigned parking spot was just steps away from the condo), great pool area! The Bad: the condo is filthy. The couch is so dirty my kids wouldn't sit on it. We bought a mop and mopped the floor which yielded many buckets of black water. The bedding had crumbs in it when we arrived. The master bedroom mattress is horrible..I felt crippled every morning. The ugly: no washer and dryer... for this reason alone we would not go back. We could have washed the bedding ourselves and when traveling with 3 kids at the beach, you really do need a washer.

The condo was clean and well decorated, but the couch was dingy and dirty. There were no linens for the sofa bed except 1 pillowcase. There was only one blanket and no washer/dryer. The master bed mattress was very thin and hard.

Spring break

Since the weather was cool and windy, the indoor pool and hot tub was a huge plus. The condo was spacious and accommodating. The only thing missing was a washer & dryer.

Awful management, lied in discription

First, the floors were dirty. The place seemed clean but the floors were not. No linens were provided for the sleeper sofa. Maybe they should mention that in the discription. There were plenty of extra pillows in the closet, but not one pillow case to put on them. No extra towels. No beach towels. That would be a nice thing, but not included. This didn't matter to me family, but I'm pretty sure it said they had cable tv, they did not. No washer and dryer, even though they said they have one. Oh and there isn't a laundry mat in the whole huge hotel because every other unit has one. So you would have to go down the street to a laundry mat or bring home a bunch of dirty wet beach towels and bathing suits. I pack differently for my family when I know I have a washing machine and dryer. I bring less clothes and less beach towels and laundry soap so I can wash up the clothes. Not telling the truth messed up my trip. Now the next thing was just bad luck. We had no hot water. We reported it just 3 hours after we checked in when it was time to bathe the baby. They sent someone that night who said it couldn't be fixed by him and another man would come out in the morning. We called multiple times the next morning, but they just kept saying a repair guy would come. When he got there, he was so apologetic because he didn't get there until 6:30 pm. No one told him the unit was occupied! I have a family of 6 that need to wash off after swimming in the ocean, pool and hot tub. He says he can't fix it and that we would need to move. We asked to be moved the night before! By the time he finished his checks, our baby was sleeping. We couldn't move to a new condo down the street that night. I also couldn't wash the dishes from the food I cooked without hot water. I had to boil water and dump it in the sink to get the grease off. I didn't think this beautiful condo would make me feel like a pioneer woman boiling water on the stove. The next place we stayed at had everything this place was lacking (even the linens for the couch and pillows). It was called the Summit. Lying about the washer and dryer was bad. The repair man coming at night instead of the morning was rediculous! They should have offered to move is right away after the first guy couldn't fix it. They offered to refund us $100. We paid $80 to use the facilities at this location and $20 at the next. They didn't refund us anything to compensate for our crappy experience in their condo.

Definitely not as clean as we expected. Great communication with the rental property though.

Communication with the rental property was excellent. Sadly the apartment itself was not what we expected. It was not cleaned properly. The furniture when we arrived was very damp with a strange smell. There was dust on the fans, windows, baseboards. The extra blankets and pillows were just thrown in the closet on the floor. The washer and dryer did not work correctly especially the dryer as it did not dry our clothes. The coffee machine was left diry with the old filter and used coffee grains in it. The sides and the back of the sink was filthy. We used multiple Clorox wipes to clean out the dirt. Definitely not up to par especially when we are charged a cleaning fee. Location is great with easy access to the beach and food. Overall made the best of the stay and had a great time with friends but would not rent this property again.

First time renting. Everything was great with the unit. Great view from balcony, pool was great, easy walk to beach. Only thing that was a small irratant the complex charges $ 60 for parking and wristbands ( you can only have 1 car for this unit)

Loved the location.

For the most part it was a great place to stay. It’s disappointing to read reviews from previous guests that had issues that HAVEN'T been resolved. Unit 908 as previously stated in other reviews has a leak above the master bathroom sink that drips nasty water on you while you use the sink. The TV had a red line down the middle of the screen. The washers left brown stains on our clothing. The elevators were constantly broken down. The lady at the desk for wristbands was so rude and kept trying to take my phone out of my hand to find an email that I’m sure she could have looked up for herself. The outside patio was left dirty and there were actual toenail clippings left out there. Lastly, the sleeper sofa was so hard and broken down it wasn’t comfortable to sit on let alone sleep on for 5 days. While paying too dollar to stay here I believe those issues should have been resolved before we arrived. Especially, the ones that were already listed in reviews. That’s disappointing. The view was great and the location is wonderful. There was no parasailing and there’s so many rental chairs that the property puts out that you can’t see the ocean from your seat on the beach unless you rent one. I would recommend this unit if the items listed above were taken care of instead of looked over for a quick flip.

Property Manager ignored emails about property issues

Upon arrival check-in was smooth. Unit smelled clean. However, we didn’t close the bedroom door until our 2nd night there and the entire bottom wall was covered in black mold. I send 3 emails with pictures to the property manager with no response (I emailed the day before check-in for instructions with almost am immediate response). Still have not heard a word. I advised them I am Asthmatic as well. We also found a men’s undershirt in the sleeper couch. We made the best of our stay but will not use Real Joy Vacations again. Black Mold is a serious issue!

The condo was exactly what we were expecting. The property manager was quick to respond with a couple questions we had upon arrival. The only thing I was not excited about was the black mold we found on the wall behind the door leading into the master suite. We did also only have one roll of toilet paper. That was an easy fix since Walmart is close by.

For the youngsters

The unit was nice, other than that, we would stay somewhere else. The resort had younger kids around being noisy, drunk, and ridiculous. The people down at the pool never listened to the rules. They would hold chairs for the whole day with their towels so we could never enjoy the pool. The garage was a nightmare trying to get in and out. I did like that it was close to the unit. The elevators were not that bad but we did have to wait a while and it was super crowded. I don't understand for a resort that big you only have a few elevators? The kids would also scream, in the middle of the night. You would think it was world War 3. They would echo from the pool like they were doing mating calls to each other and it wasn't just one or two of them. It was a good bit. If you want to party all day and night, this is the place for you. If you are wanting to come to have a family fun time and quiet, this place is not for you.

Beachfront Condo

We were located on the 9th floor. Parking was on the same level and very near to the room. Upon entering the room it smelled very clean. WiFi password provided at check in was incorrect and had to wait a few days for maintenance to provide the correct password. Cabin never worked the whole time, this was inconvenient with children who wake up early and at night time to unwind. Floors were dirty and left feet black of shoes were not worn at all times. Comforters on all beds didn’t appear to be cleaned between guests. Waiting for the elevators at any given time was HORRIBLE! Too many people, not enough working elevators. Constant teen/young adults on Spring Break congregating on the beach in front of the resort. Cops there daily for fights and other drunk and disorderly kids. Constant loud music as they would walk by with loud speakers blasting music, hollering from balcony all hours of the night. This was NOT a family friendly environment for my young children. Constant weed smells everywhere at the condo. If you’re looking for a party atmosphere- this is it. However, if you are going as a family and looking to relax on the beach- this is not the place to stay. We felt like we had to leave the beach by 4:00 each day to avoid the crowds and cops and all the partying it brought to the resort.
