I decided to book a last-minute trip to PCB, and while the location was okay, unfortunately, the accommodations were not.
Upon arrival, the unit was dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned prior to our stay. There were dead bugs, a dirty bathroom, and a noticeable musty odor. I immediately contacted the property management staff and was advised that a cleaning crew would be sent out. Unfortunately, they were not able to come until the following day, which was very disappointing.
The cleaner eventually came, and the staff was apologetic and professional about the situation. However, the experience still left a very bad taste in my mouth, and I would not book this property again. I was also told that the $150 cleaning fee would be refunded, only to later find out that the actual refund was $140, which was frustrating.
The unit itself has potential to be a nice place to stay, but the property needs better overall maintenance. The landscaping and weeds definitely need some TLC, and there are not enough trash cans available throughout the property.
Overall, the location was decent, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and communication regarding the cleaning fee made this stay disappointing.
