Would not recommend
We felt like we were in prison at this place coming and going with the bracelets that they said you are not allowed to remove or you would pay 100.00 for a new one. It’s like there were guards at every corner to prevent people from doing anything. The employees at The Shores or Panama were rude to the guest! Not necessarily me, but I watched them speak to their paying guests in manors that I would never do to my guests. We had kids and the ocean was closed because of rip tides, but all other surrounding hotels had their pools open except ours. It was closed more than it was open during our stay. Storms were understandable to close the pool but if they simply saw a dark cloud they would kick everyone out. Lastly, the elevator wait time is the main reason I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would stay on one of the bottom floors if I was going here and just use the stairs. Wait times were 20+ minutes every time. Then the elevators were crammed full with unhappy people that had been waiting forever and didn’t want to stop for more guests. The rooms were clean and the view was nice, but not worth what you pay if you can’t enjoy it!
