Hi Fiona! Thanks for your review and, apart from the loo roll and bin liners, I am glad everything was to your satisfaction. We have new caretakers for the apartment and have asked them to ensure there is at least a supply of toilet roll and bin liners for the start of guests’ stay. Marion

I was surprised, shocked and saddened to read this review as this guest has never been in touch with me directly to voice these complaints. As for the location of the apartment, many people return to the Great Kings Complex time and time again because they enjoy the location and facilities of the complex and are quite happy to walk or drive down to the centre of Kapparis but then I guess it doesn’t suit everyone. As for ‘rubbish, old sofas everywhere’, I have been informed that there is new building near the wheely bins and that, unfortunately, some owners DO dump old sofas and TVs there for pick up. I will try to get that looked into but nothing I can do about that to help this particular grievance. As for the ‘funny smell’, that does puzzle me as I know our cleaners are meticulous. I wonder if it was cooking aromas from nearby apartments? I am genuinely sorry that our apartment was not to this guest’s satisfaction and I do wish he had contacted me before writing this review so that I could at least understand where he was coming from. I must add that we do have guests who return regularly so we must be doing something right.

I am glad the apartment was generally agreeable. However, I am a little surprised the apartment was smoky as it is meant to be a non-smoking apartment and there had been no guests in the previous week.. As for the beds, I will pass this information on to my son whose apartment it is but this is the first time we have had this complaint.

Aw, thanks so much, Paul. I am sorry about the TV and need to get my son to check as thought he had. I know there is a switch between Cypriot and satellite channels but the dish sometimes needs realignment. Agree about the car as it is so much easier to explore the locality.
