Terrible communication from the accommodation manager and assistant. Did not return calls or messages. The listing stated ‘free self parking’, there is not, only between the hours of 8pm and 8am (& weekends) Other times you must pay €2 per hour and only up to a maximum of 3 hours. We arrived at 5.30pm and apartment wasn’t ready, smelled like the “cleaner” had just been smoking in there. The apartment should in no way be classified as “beautiful or new”. We had to wash kitchen items before using them as they were not clean. The sofa bed is hard and has many stains. You cannot fully use the table as there isn’t enough room to extend it and have four people around it at one time. Main bed is hard and uncomfortable. Nowhere to hang anything or store any bags, the wardrobe was locked up. Bathroom is tiny with no ventilation (fan or window) probably why one wall was visibly mouldy. Not sure why the “cleaner” doesn’t tend to this. Toilet, tiny sink and shower with no door or shower curtain. Very small hot water cylinder, short showers still left us with no hot water. Only one set of keys and you need them to unlock the main building door to exit - major fire hazard. Close to the Saint Denis metro station but this was closed during our stay due to strikes. Even if it was open, I can not imagine it only taking 5 minutes to get into Paris. The neighbourhood did not have a safe feeling about it, especially at night.
