Ett enkelt och rätt slutet hotell. Bra läge nära både Gare du nord och Gare de l’Est. Men stora dammtussar under sängen, slitna handdukar med hål i, allmänt rätt risigt skick

Ganska slitet hotell och det minsta familjerum jag någonsin sett. Två dubbelsängar och en enkelsäng tog upp i stort sett hela rummets golvyta.

Great location to stay in Paris
Great Location right across the street from the Gare du Nord station. Room was a bit worn down but was comfortable and clean with AC, private bathroom and elevator. Lots of cafés and restaurants in the area, close to Metro, Eurostar. Friendly staff, I don´t speak a word of French but got by. Good value for money, I would consider the Richmond if I go back to Paris.

Helt okej hotell
Trevlig personal, bra rum överlag, fräscht badrum. Bekväma förbindelser då hotellet ligger precis framför Gare du Nord, men otrevligt område att vistas på under kvällar/nätter. Fick en trasig spegel på rummet och kortläsaren till rumsnyckeln fungerade dåligt, lite högljutt och lyhört på nätterna. Annars var det ett prisvärt hotell för en kort visit i staden.

Convenient location, major train station across the street, many restaurants/cafes nearby. One negative factor was the group of men who would constantly be outside the hotel just standing to the side. At times they would block the entrance to the hotel which didn’t make my group feel safe. Other than that, from the doors in, we felt safe.

Great place compared to price
If you look at the price, it is perfect. Its close to metro and train, rooms as totalt fine.. they forgot to clean a couple of days, it got sorted.. its not a 5 star hotel... Its a absolutely decent room that is super central and cheap. I would stay here again

Vibrant neighborhood; many varied dining choices; convenient for public transportation; reasonable rate; beds comfortable and room, though tiny (as is perhaps to be expected in Paris), was warm and well-appointed. Immediately outside the property it constantly smelled of urine and litter was often present - I imagine it's an endless battle being across from the train station, but no effort at all seemed to be made. Lobby and elevator often reeked, too. Room was not ready for us when we arrived, despite being over an hour beyond check-in. Front desk was not aware of the situation till we mentioned it. ("My computer says it was cleaned", the guy at the desk said, clearly not about to take responsibility.) We had to leave and wander around for an hour after our ten hour overnight flight before we could unwind in our room. The shower was door-less and the drain extremely slow, so we had to continually turn off the water and wait or the entire room flooded. Twice when we returned the door was locked and we had to knock and wait before gaining entry, and room turn-around sometimes wasn't completed yet though we were returning to it late in the afternoon. Bottom line is that they seem to be understaffed, but once you get into your clean room it's comfortable, and it's great to be right next to Gare du Nord metro station.

Was given a room with a window about one metre wide and one and half metres high, overlooking a beautiful wall two or three metres away. Went back down to tell the male receptionist that I had booked a room with city view. He told me that I was paying so little and city view rooms were a lot more expensive!!! I showed him my Expedia reservation. I then proceeded to explain how hotels will give certain travel agents special rates which will enable them to fill vacant rooms during quiet times, thus assisting to increase their occupancy rates, which sometimes will decrease their average rate but overtime will increase their overall revenue. Not sure he was convinced!!!

5 days in Paris
Hotel was clean, thanks God no bedbugs. Air Conditioner was not cooling enough. Staff are not friendly. Convenient location in front of Train stations and Metro.

Came from Texas. Hotel is average, bed was kinda hard and pillow not comfortable but not terrible. Front staff can converse in English. Great location to Gare du Nord/Gare de l’Est, which are major train stations. Good cafes/bakeries near by. Rowdy area of Paris so be aware of surroundings. Stores can’t sell alcohol past 5 pm which was a bummer but overall a good 3 nights in Paris. Would visit again!

I woudnt stay there again. Bedroom and bathroom was ok. Service was not at all friendly and location was crap even if it was close to gare du nord. Rubbish and smell like piss at entrance.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Convenient to metro( RER) ,staff was friendly and nice, helped us when we needed. Clean and comfortable and we felt safe. Neighborhood had everything we needed.

Air conditioning problem.
Location is perfect. Front end jeramy was so helpful but he is limited. Room air conditioned was not working properly, too hot for our family and we couldn’t sleep well. Hair dryer keeps on turning off after several minutes of use, when the dryer is working, the air conditioner will turn off. They are controlling the electricity. Family room is too tiny for our family of 5. Will not come back to this hotel.

when i checked in everything went smoothly, until i went to the room and it was still dirty. they then switched me to a clean room but it wasnt the right room we booked unfortunately, so i had to wait 30 minutes for them to clean my room. when i came back, the room was cleaned but i put the sheets up and there was blood stained on the blanket. asked them to wash my sheets and they were difficult. other than that the room smelt disgusting, shower head was broken. its fine for the price

Good for a quick stay for the fearless!
What they don’t tell you is that this hotel is in a very sketchy neighborhood. Be prepared to be dodging drug dealers, pick pockets, and other sketchy people looking to get one over on you. Below the hotel is a rundown abandoned restaurant that is boarded up with homeless people sleeping in front of it every night. Then every day I was there, I had to pay additional taxes that were not communicated in the Hotels.com booking. I gave hotels.com my credit card expecting to be paid in full. Then when you leave the hotel, the front desk clerk will not let you take your room key with you. The architecture is nice. The room was comfortable, decent size for a small room. And the bathroom was fantastic! It was very clean, and had a great rain shower head.

One front desk staff person was not very friendly—gave us incorrect information about bus schedule and when I pointed that out to him, he started arguing with me instead of apologizing. (The other staff were nice.) Our room was cleaned very late (one day at 5pm, when we had already returned from our trip around the city). Breakfast was not included, and to get it, we had to walk around the corner to a different hotel.
