Most excellent house
We (family of 7) stayed for three nights, to go to the two Disney parks. This house is nothing short of a hidden gem. It's a 10-15 minute drive to Disney. There are multiple stores, restaurants, and the Centre Commercial Val d'Europe mall close by. Melda and Alan were welcoming and helpful at all times. (They also gave us the ultimate tip for parking at Disney.) Would definitely stay again!

A proper French stay so close to Disney
Melda and Alan were so helpful before and during our visit. The property has a lovely spacious feel with great amenities for families and children. Our boys went into the pool every day. It's a big pool, around 9m and it was great to be able to sit in the sun on a lounger while being able to watch them so closely. We visited a local Italian restaurant and a Chinese which were both excellent. There are lovely park walks close to the cottage and the buses are a 2 min walk and very regular with the last buses from Disney leaving well after midnight. From Paris we found it easier to walk to Gare De l'est and get the 23 min train to Lagny Thorigny followed by a 15 min bus right into the village for the cottage rather than mess around on the Paris metro. We have stayed on site at Disney, in local hotels and in other cottages but this was the best option of them all for the ease, amenities and experience. Thank you Melda and Alan, we had a fabulous time.

Stayed here during April month with family and close to Disneyland however pool was not open and may be higher side price wise but Alan is very caring and gentleman helped us with loads of information.

Heerlijk huisje, perfect gelegen en Melda & Alan zijn erg behulpzaam
We hebben heerlijk genoten van het huisje van Melda & Alan. Lekker dicht bij Disneyland, 10 minuutjes met de bus. En makkelijk met de metro naar hartje Parijs in 30 minuutjes. Het huisje is lekker ruim en ‘s avonds de openhaard aan en spelletjes doen met de kids. Melda & Alan hebben perfect geholpen met goede tips en een extra lading hout voor de openhaard :-)

Spacious and clean house with lots of activities for children, such as foosball and table tennis
The house was as expected very nice and clean with plenty of space for our two children. They had a lovely time playing foosball and table tennis at the house. The pool was amazing and the children wanted to come back from disneyland earlier so they could have more time in the pool! The bus ride to disneyland park was convenient and cost efficient as the bus stop was just a short walk from the house. On our first day, Alan kindly offered to drive us to the nearest supermarket to buy groceries we needed for our stay. I liked the fact that Melda had provided little things in the house like cotton buds, slippers, tea, coffee and even milk for us so it felt like home away from home! I would highly recommand this place for a family with children to have a brilliant time as we all did. Thank you so much Melda and Alan!

So So
To start with, the hosts are amazing. They are just there when you need them. However, we did not have a good experience as the house was really really cold and there were molds in the house.Also, you can find webs all over the house :( I and my niece both had a cold and had to suffer the whole holiday. The taxi is really expensive in France and it will cost you around 18-25 Euros and you need it everytime you have to go out. The first time Alan took us to the grocery shopping so it was easy, however, from the next time it was very difficult as nothing is near you. If you have kids I think its good to stay near Disneyland, however, if you are a bunch of friends just to enjoy it might be a good option if you are ok with the dust.

We are very disappointed that your stay did not meet your expectations. You are right that visitors to the area, especially those coming for Disney, depending on individual taste and circumstances, might consider the convenience of staying in a Disney or associated hotel or appartment in Val d'Europe rather than opting for accommodation in one of the satellite towns or villages in spite of their rustic charm, character and economy. We do hope that you have not been put off returning..maybe one summertime.

Everything was perfect. It's a super complete house.
Just around a corner to Disneyland. A great house for families. We had a lovely time there!
