The Utah mountains have always inspired travelers with a welcome blend of expansive canyons and grand summits. The Berg Chalet is located in the guard gated community of The Colony at White Pine Canyon on a secluded 5-acre lot that creates a private retreat for renewal.

Winter welcomes what some call, the finest snow on earth and the promise of great ski outings for everyone. The Colony is a private community, centrally located to take advantage of all the activities the Park City Mountain has to offer. The skiing here is termed epic for many reasons including 41 lifts covering over 7000 acres. The resort includes 346 runs, 13 bowls, 8 terrain parks, 1 superpipe, and 1 mini pipe! The Colony encompasses more than half of the total terrain of Canyons Village within its boundaries and the high-speed, eight-person Quicksilver Gondola lifts riders from one side of the enormous resort to the other in moments. Fresh tracks in new powder are on the morning menu and directly accessible from The Colony residences.

Warm up by the fire as you gear up in the ski room – then head out the back door for a beginner’s lesson or crank the bindings tight for an epic powder day on the slopes! Additionally, the other seasons of the year offer magical experiences not to miss!

Our architectural and design firms were tasked with creating a welcoming contemporary interior space, by bringing an organic connection of the outdoors inside. Strategic window placement permits exterior sight lines to complement every living space. Expansive banks of active glass wall open an invitation to take in the breathtaking exterior beauty from covered porches and verandas throughout the home. All interior gathering spaces are designed to flow towards the outdoor areas which complement a lifestyle to entertain while maintaining the intimacy of casual sitting areas and cozy niches.

THE KITCHEN
Any kitchen is the heart of every home. Our oversized kitchen with its extended center bar complete with waterfall edges, creates generous seating and/or a creative workspace. Sit at the counter for a quick snack or entertain guests using professional grade appliances throughout. Whatever your plans, the southern canyon view will warmly greet you from the large window above the main sink that remains your constant companion while working in this wonderful kitchen.


THE BREAKFAST “NOOK”
The Nook, a favorite for everyone, is enhanced by the warmth of a fireplace hearth as the morning sunrise greets you and highlights the mountain vistas with ski in-ski out slopes waiting just for you to enjoy!

DINING
The dining table’s generous seating is central to the Great Room encouraging interaction for all the guests.

GREAT ROOM
Our casual seating compliments a great gathering space with ample views, a large linear fireplace hearth and the ability to relax and watch a movie together.

PRIMARY SUITE
Incredible views enhanced by a private covered porch and warmed by a multi- sided fireplace make the Primary Suite a pleasure. The Sitting Room has a large window with expansive southern canyon views. The custom lighting is warm and includes a fireplace hearth area that adjusts to the evening plans.

PRIMARY BATH
The Primary Bath’s heated tile floor invites you to make your way to the soaking tub. The oversized steam shower, ample closet space and infinity vanities will help you enjoy those most private moments of the day.

SKI ROOM
Custom warming lockers allow the moisture to dry and all the gear to be heated for the morning. Power up first thing and ski just 30 feet to the slopes! Remember to stop in mid-day to energize with power bars and drinks from the integrated fridge. Then let the fireplace and heated floor in the Ski Room warm you up before hitting the slopes for the afternoon.
