Potato Lake Paradise in northern Minnesota. Just north of Park Rapids

The moment you step inside, you are greeted by an amazing view of Potato Lake, one of northern Minnesota's premier lakes. As you enter, the kitchen is on your left, and dining table to your right which flows to the living room with awesome lake views. There is a half bath on the lower level as well. Upstairs, you'll be blown away by the view from the master bedroom that has a king size bed. The second bedroom has 3 twin size beds (two are a bunk bed). Full size bathroom upstairs as well. Our place has a large deck facing the water with two patio sets for you to enjoy while grilling (gas) with an excellent view of the flat, level yard, leading right to the water's edge. There is also a deck on the parking lot side of the unit with a patio table there as well. You'll always be able to sit in the sun or shade depending on which deck you go to. Just outside our unit is a play set and beach volleyball court. You also have access to the indoor pool/sauna, sandy beach area, fire rings in the yard, washer/dryer, etc. It's truly an amazing place, and has asphalt road all the way to the front door. We look forward to having you as our guests at our Potato Lake Paradise!

Great!

It was a nice place to stay! Only couple small complaints, you couldn’t take longer than a 10 minute shower or the water was cold, and one of the toilets would continue to run unless you fixed the chain. But overall great place!

Home Away from Home!

A very lovely stay for my family and I. The house was immaculate, the beds were comfy and it was just so darn peaceful waking up early in the morning and drinking coffee on the back porch overlooking the lake. Very highly recommend this property!

Great Stay

This unit was great as it had AC down stairs and in the upstairs master bedroom. Great little resort nice and peaceful. We have stayed in another unit at the resort that did not have AC. Also really likec the extended deck on the back. Great stay!

Oct 20th weekend

I wanted to come up to Park Rapids to see my 3 yr old Grandson. My sister and one of our friends came. The weather was great and we could play outside. The condo was clean and very nice. Beds were comfortable. We couldn't even hear the people in the condo next door. Getting to town was easy. Great place to stay.

We Loved It

The condo is in a cute cluster of side-by-side condos. Of all of the condos, this one had the best possibilities for outside dining with 3 tables in 3 areas. We were fortunate that no one used the condos beside us. So, we had complete privacy. (If the other condos had been occupied, there would still have been “walls” between each deck.) The lake is large and the fishing is good. The location is perfect with just a short drive to Park Rapids, Itasca State Park and numerous lakes. (Be aware that there is no dishwasher and the laundry is in a different building. These were not problems for us.). This was one of the favorite places we have ever stayed.

Relaxing retreat

We enjoyed our week on Potato Lake. Our VRBO was clean and comfortable. The views of the lake were stunning. Spent time in Itasca State Park, reading, walking, and enjoying the sound of the loons. The caretakers of the resort do an amazing job taking care of the lawn and were very welcoming. We would return in the future.

Wonderful find on Potato Lake!!

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this condo! The view of the lake from the back deck was amazing, and our kids loved swimming in the indoor pool at the resort. The condo was very clean and comfortable with more than enough room for our family of 4! Itasca State Park was a quick 25 minute drive, and Park Rapids is also very close so we were easily able to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat. The owner was extremely attentive to any questions we had leading up to our trip and checking in went seamlessly. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway!
