“We had a great stay for our son’s graduation from UMD. The location was convenient for everything we had planned. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. We loved our rooms. The amenities were great. The property was clean and rooms were well appointed. Beds were comfortable and our view of Lake Superior was special. We will be back!!”

“The room was very clean, however; the night before our stay was over the toilet plugged up. We could’ve changed rooms for a night before but it was having to Pack and unpack and pack up again so we used the toilet near the pool area. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. I like they had a breakfast buffet because I didn’t have to go out. It’s a great place to stay!”

“Smells like Mold when you walk in the doors, the restaurant was already closing and the rooms... I get reinvention is hard but what they did was next level. The room its self is fine but the bathrooms don't trust the photos! Our was not the same as pictured also there isn't ac in the room or fans. It looks like a rent by night hotel with a big fancy price tag. No thanks! 0 out of 5 stars”

“This place was nice mostly, it was clean and the location was good. The main complaint was that our tv didn’t work. The gal that worked there put in good effort to fix it but ultimately it never worked. It was clean and the breakfast was decent. I would stay here again and just hope the tv worked.”

“Waterslide was advertised, but not available. Hotel was having renovations done, so there was a lot of construction debris and noise. Renovations were not noted during booking.”

“The room was very clean. That was the only thing that was exceptional. The beds were comfortable. The front desk staff were not too friendly. It seemed like everyone working there hated their job. We got drinks at the bar. The bartender was friendly, but everyone else had a scowl on their face. Margaritas were not good!!”

“This is my go to when in Duluth. They take dogs which is the reason I stay. The place could use a good carpet cleaning. My room smelled and the hallway was stuffy and also smelly. Otherwise everything else is perfect. A good summer carpet cleaning wouldn’t hurt.”

“They did have forks and spoons in the lobby though. The pool was nice and the hot tub was functional. There were poop stains on the sheets. The TV was miswired so I had to fix it. The doors wouldn't open on the first scan. I had to try 3-4 times because the doors were warped. When I was checking in, the guy in front of me had to get a new room because the bed in the room that he just checked in to was broken. The handle for the shower has to be pulled out of the way to start water flow but...
