Spring in Parksville
The inside of the house has been completely updated and is very nice. The front deck gets the morning sun and the back deck afternoon sun so it is perfect for enjoying the decks. The location is great for access to local shops and restaurants and the beach. It is on a fairly busy street but that is the trade off for being able to walk to so many places. The yard was needing some TLC but perhaps that is because we were there in April. Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would stay there again.

Awesome place.
We stayed for 9 nights. It was perfect for our needs. Location was good. It was great having a BBQ. The pics don't do it justice. Will will definitely stay there again. 👍

Summer House in the Spring
Beautiful house with all the necessities. Close to the beach and restaurants. We had a great stay and found communications with the owners fast and easy. Definitely recommend if you are needing a place to stay in Parksville.

Lovely spring break family vacation
This was such a clean, warm and inviting home to walk into. The pictures do it justice and all was as described. We came with our two 16 yr olds and 12 yr old for some time away to explore the beach and surrounding nature. Everyone was super impressed with the home: everything that was thoughtfully included (extra bedding/towels/spices/vinegars, etc) and the many luxurious extras (the bathrooms are way nicer than ours!). We really enjoyed daily walks to the beach (5 mins), grabbing food from the grocery store across the road, checking out the many stores surrounding. We brought bikes and accessed the trails easily too! Such a great location for ease of walking and being close to all you need. Thank you to the hosts for their clear instructions and prompt communication. Your home is lovely.

Wonderful!
The interior photos in the property description do not do this place justice! It’s very spacious and comfortable throughout. The design is very functional as well. Once the landscaping and deck area are completed, it will be a gem. The lack of live TV for us sporting enthusiasts was a little tough to take however!

Perfect Parksville stay
The house is very well kept and in a central location. Loved being able to walk to the beach and gricery store. The host went above and beyond to help us out with some items we left behind. Very responsive.

Parksville interlude
Apart from the initial glitch over the pass code, the property met or exceeded our expectations. Clean, well-laid out, well furnished-- but does communication with the proprietor have to be delayed until the day we arrive and leave us standing outside for an hour with an entry code that doesn't work?

Hi Gordon, I’m sorry to hear you felt you could not communicate with us until the day of check in, we are available to communicate with at any point after your reservation has been made and for the duration of your stay :) Regarding the door code, due to safety precautions we do not send your personalized door code until the day of arrival. Unfortunately on occasion technology doesn’t work the way it is supposed to and we always strive to circumvent any potential issues. Again our apologies! Feels like home
Our family enjoyed our stay and really did not want to leave by the end of it. The house is centrally located and is near Thrifty Foods and many local establishments. We basically walked around the area without needing the use of our vehicle. Driving to Coombs Country Market, Englishman river and Riptide Lagoon Golf did not feel very far either. The house itself is beautifully decorated and felt like a country home. The place was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Even the sofa bed got approval by my teenage son, who said it did not have the usually squeaky spring noises. We had everything we needed and it felt like home. We would definitely return for another stay if the opportunity comes our way.

family reunion
The place was nicely updated. Location was perfect for wondering around shops and close for walks to the beach. Only con was the bbq was not clean and the brush for cleaning was really gross. We purchased a bbq brush and cleaned the bbq before and after use. Suggestion is to have a few bbq cleaning brushes and bbq cleaning product.

Unfortunately it saw a moment of neglect during the slower season, but we have since purchased replacement scrapers and have taken steps to ensure that does not happen again. Great Parksville Place
This location is one of those rare finds that is even better than the pictures! Beautifully put together and very comfortable. What a great location, close to shopping , groceries, and cafes!

Summer Getaway
Once we got access, the house was quite lovely. All we needed was there and the location was quite nice with access to whatever we needed in walking distance. The public beach was walking distance and seemed to always have a range of things happening there. IT was a great week away for the whole family.

Great location
The house is a couple minute walk to the main beach/playground, there is a grocery store right across the street. The street is a bit noisy at night and as there is no air conditioning, sleeping was a bit tough when it was hot at night (had to choose street noise or stuffy room). The back deck and bbq are fantastic, rooms and general space are great. Everything was very clean. We had a fantastic stay!

Great getaway
This house was absolutely stunning, the pictures gave us an idea of what we were getting but the house was so much more. A huge living/dining area and a lovely gourmet kitchen. The master bedroom and ensuite were huge, with king bed and walk in shower. The second bedroom had a queen bed. All the beds were super comfortable. The main bathroom had a cosy, big tub for soaking. The big draw for us was the proximity to the Community Beach - a five minute walk. We loaded up the wagon, walked down and didn’t have to worry about parking at all. We will definitely be booking this house again when we return to Parksville. Thank you Paul for providing such a lovely home away from home!

Charming
What a lovely place to land on Canada Day! The house is meticulously cleaned and recently renovated. My mother in law was so happy to have a comfy room to herself. I enjoyed spending time on the covered back porch. It’s a short walk to the beach. We will have to stay longer next time! Paul anticipated all our needs, he checked in to make sure we were able to access the property. We didn’t need anything since everything was taken care of, but it was clear he was there if we did need something. Definitely recommend.

Great modern home!
A really nicely updated single-family home-style 2 bedroom home. Very nice location in downtown Parksville just up the road from the Community Park. Virtually the entire interior has been updated to a very modern standard and we wanted for nothing. Extremely fast wireless internet was a surprising bonus! Convenient parking just in front of the home was also a nice feature. The exterior is still a bit "rough", but the owner is now working on that. Overall, a great place to stay for us and we would recommend this property highly to anyone else.

Beautiful Home!
This property exceeded our expectations when we arrived! It is an exceptionally beautiful home located in a good, quiet neighbourhood. We liked that it was a short walk across the street to a grocery store, restaurant, and other stores. Has everything you need or can think of to have a comfortable stay. The back deck is great for sitting outdoors and the yard is enclosed so kids can safely play! Overall we had a great experience and would absolutely be booking to stay again!

Lovely Central Property
Paul’s Property was absolutely lovely! Great decor, super clean, and the beds are super comfy! The location is superb and central, walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops!

Wonderful
The house is in a great central parksville location, so cute and well decorated on the inside. The vibe of the house is great, only thing was the security cameras (which i completely understand the need for) but we did not feel comfortable enjoying the deck with the camera there. Everything else was fantastic, greats beds and beautiful kitchen and bathrooms!

Hi Haylee, Sorry to hear about your concern about the security cameras, I wish I had know sooner to ease your mind. These cameras are used for security when the home is unoccupied and are not on when a guest is present unless requested for additional security by the guest. All the best!

Happy with this Excellent VRBO!
Well thought out features and decor in this recently renovated home. Very comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked, bright well lit rooms. Enjoyed the deck sun for lunch. Large shower with 2 showers plus a hand held wand and a tiled bench, and low step for easier entry than the bath. Great location, very quiet in evenings, slight road noise may be noticed by some in the mornings. Very walkable. Backyard parking available from lane handy.

Great Property
This is a great property- walking distance to a park for the kids, a local brewery (kid friendly) for the adults and beach access. With grocery store and Lefties restaurant across the street this was a perfect little spot. Property was very clean, well stocked and very comfortable for our family of 4. Thank you Paul.

Very Clean Accomodations
Very nice house and is exactly as advertised. Super clean and comfortable furniture. The location is convenient with a grocery store and liquor store across the street. The street is a bit busy but does quiet down at night. Very nice deck out back and host was easy to communicate with. Overall a very nice stay for 3 adults. I would recommend this place to stay and would stay here again.

Beautiful home, great location
Our family of four was very happy with our accommodations! The house was beautifully updated, offering all the comforts of home, and more. The bathrooms were especially gorgeous, with the soaker tub and large, rainfall shower. The location made our trip so easy. The home is conveniently across the street from a grocery store, and walking distance to many great restaurants. It was also a 5 minute walk from the amazing beach and playground at Parksville Community Park. Communication with the owner was fast and easy, and he was very accommodating to our needs. We will definitely stay here again!
