“Check was confusing, we had to go to the retirement home reception. Room was great, beautiful bathroom. No nearby eateries, ordered in. Don’t bother booking the breakfast,he’d to keep asking for things like plates. ”

“Ett trevligt äldre hotell i ett mycket bra skick. Vi fick en gratis uppgradering av rummet. Sängarna var sköna men bäddade med plastad frotté under lakanet vilket gjorde sängarna mycket varma att sova i. God frukost för €7. Vi rekommenderar hotellet.”

“Excellent location in Laon. Husband and wife staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. We'd hoped to dine on site for our evening meal. Their restaurant was closed and they found us an alternative restaurant and made a dinner reservation for us. I was recovering from a cold and the owner prepared me a hot lemon honey and ginger drink to have before I went to bed. Even made me one the following morning. To some the hotel may feel dated, but out group of 8 loved the sense of history the hotel...

“The hotel is extremely well located within the historic centre of Laon. We have stayed there on four separate occasions as we travel through France to or from the Channel Tunnel. The hotel itself is full of historic interest with a somewhat quirky charm. There is ample free parking within easy walking distance and a good choice of restaurants all within a hundred yards of the hotel door. We will be returning there soon.”

“Satisfaisant agréable ”

“Vi kunde inte sova över natten för att rummet var så äckligt. Det var damm och fläckar på golvet men det värsta av allt var att det var spindelnät på sängarna och flera stora spindlar. Vi checkade in på kvällen men fick åka efter en timme för det gick inte att vara där.”

“Ingen engelsktalande personal. Stenhård madrass. Hotellet ligger bredvid en rondell, därav mycket störande trafik.”
