The house in the great shape and perfect location if you want to explore the wine country or visit the light show. The photos don't do justice, the view is better! Overall it was a fantastic experience and we enjoyed our stay very much. The host provided everything what is needed. Everything was super clean, which we appreciated very much.

Paradise in Paso!

Beautiful home in a peaceful & convenient location. Gorgeous views, nice layout with 2 en-suite bedrooms, as well as 2 other bedrooms & a full bath. Perfect for our family to celebrate our granddaughter’s college graduation. I could definitely live here! We had a wonderful stay. We loved that we were close to some local wineries that were amazing!

Incredible Stay!

I have been visiting Paso for years and have stayed in multiple hotels and vaction rentals. This home has been my favorite by a landslide! It is located in an absolute stunning area with 360 degree views! The home is well appointed and they simple have thought of everything! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is amazing and sitting out on the back porch by the fire pit and at the dining area for pizza and wine are some of our best experiences of the weekend. I brought a friend group here to celebrate some birthdays and they were blown away! Thank you for a truly restorative and relaxing experience!

Fabulous

What a beautiful house and location! This was a wonderful house to spend our 50th anniversary with our family. Spectacular views, plenty of space, well furnished kitchen- we like to cook. It was peaceful and quiet with lots of wildlife to enjoy. The owners are very responsive to questions too! Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Wonderful home!

I stayed here with friends and we had a great time. Home was perfect as we all got our own rooms. Kitchen is beautifully stocked with all that you need. Very quiet, great location with lots of privacy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit one evening, just perfect. Diane was very helpful with our arrival and made sure lights were on as we arrived late in the evening. Highly recommend this home, you won't be disappointed.

The Perfect Getaway

There were 5 of us who stayed for 3 nights at Sweetlife Villa. The view from the front porch is awesome in all directions. We were able to get to town in 10 minutes to enjoy the shops, wineries and restaurants. The rest of the time we enjoyed our stay at the house with the fire pit, the hot tub, the well equipped kitchen and the wood burning fireplace. It was a birthday weekend for me, and it was perfect.

Wow - What a house!

This home is HUGE and even nicer than the pictures lead on. Everything is high end, from the wood floors to the custom cabinets. Our family enjoyed spending time on the patio watching the amazing views during sunset and sunrise. Diane was amazing. Super accommodating and responsive. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with tons of room, look no further!

Absolutely love this place. Great setting in the hills, with local deer visiting daily. Yet still minutes from wineries. Has everything you need. The owner is great to work with. Even gifted us with some of their own olive oil. House is open, roomy with great amenities. Highly recommended.

Beautiful stay

We celebrated new years at this beautiful property and enjoyed every moment of it. The house has everything you need and is very well maintained. We were seven adults and all slept very well. The grounds and views are truly beautiful. We spent hours walking among the oak trees and climbing various hills, each one with a spectacular view. Our communication with Diane was wonderful. I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic View

This house is tucked away on it's own hill up a gated dirt road. The view from the back veranda is fantastic. We watched deer and cows grazing in the valley below every morning. Inside, there is a great room perfect for our family enjoy each other's company. The rooms are spacious, and smartly decorated. We'll be back.

WONDERFUL Property!!

All six of us were very impressed with this property and will definitely put it on our list to return on our next trip! The layout was perfect for us (two couples and two singles all over 60) - the living area was so spacious, but yet warm and cozy! We enjoyed games around the dining table, and wine and fun conversation around the fire pit! Several wineries within easy driving distance! Just a wonderful property overall! We had a great time and look forward to our next visit!!

True to it’s name, We experienced The Sweetlife!

Sweetlife Villa was beyond our expectations. Everything was perfect for our Thanksgiving Celebration with 4 generations. The setting is tranquil and beautiful, night and day. Long walks right outside and gorgeous views from every window. We found the house to be welcoming and well equipped to handle our group. We all felt rested, relaxed and truly treated to the Sweetlife after our stay. We will definitely return!

Paso Robles Wine Tasting Getaway

Sweet Life Villa offered us the perfect oasis for our Paso Robles wine tasting getaway / family get together. The home was beautifully furnished, well appointed and was spotless. The owner was communicative throughout the rental process, answering our many questions, advising us on nearby wineries to visit and restaurants to try. The villa location offered us the privacy we desired but was well located for our visit to various wineries, a jaunt to Avila Beach, Tin City, dinner in downtown Paso and San Luis Obispo. There is no greater compliment than to say we'd return.

A brief stay in PARADISE

The location of the Sweetlife Villa is in the middle of golden hills, old oaks and magnificent vineyards, many of which we sampled. We were greeted by a yummy bottle of Cab from the Sweetlife Cellars, a very warm welcome! The inside of the house was described by one of my friends as " a castle". The villa is indeed very generous and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable; I rarely slept so well. The outdoor fire pit, grill and hot tub complete a great experience. We all decided that we'll be back!

A Great Escape

Our family of four rested well in this place far from traffic, crowds of people, and noise. To hear the sounds of wildlife, herds of cattle in the distance, and see the grand vista of rolling hills was a salve to our weary souls. Even so, Paso Robles or Atascadero are only a 20-minute country drive away. The house and its comfortable amenities gave us a great space in which to spread out and relax. Thanks, Diane and Mark, for your wonderful communication along the way and attention to detail for those who come to stay. We highly recommend this for your next getaway in Central California.

Idyllic Country House

This home is beautiful and the views out the back porch are serene. The sun lights up the golden hills across the valley in the morning as you sip a cup of coffee and contemplate your day. Location is very convenient to the wineries, grocery stores and downtown entertainment. We rented this for my wife's birthday celebration and her brother's and sister's families joined us. Everyone raved about the house, it was such a great time. We had questions for Diane prior to our arrival and she was prompt and extremely helpful in her replies, a great to host to us. This is the second house we have rented in Paso Robles and the one I would definitely rent again. Thank you so much Diane, you made our weekend perfect!

Idyllic Central Coast Property

We had a large family group including elderly and young adults for a holiday gathering. Everything about this home was perfect for us. The peaceful, private setting in the golden hills east of Paso Robles is gorgeous and the view from the great room and outdoor seating area shows off the unique landscape. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment for preparing family meals, much better than most other rental homes we’ve been to. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit, and the football fans were delighted to have the big TV. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and neat. The layout worked well for our group too, with 2 master suites and 2 extra bedrooms near the 3rd bathroom. And Mark and Diane left us a bottle of their nice estate Cabernet! Family getaway perfection!

This is the kind of place that you don’t want to leave……or start dreaming of your next trip as you are driving away! The home, the location and all that the owners do to make your stay special is an amazing combination. The home is as others have described, well designed, spacious, super clean, in great shape, with lots of extras down to the details like lighters and kindling and a kitchen extremely well stocked and fit for exec chef. The home sits on beautiful scenic park like acreage where you can walk in peace and see the hawks soar. . The owners are wonderful…Diane is a dream to work with— a great communicator and so kind and thoughtful. We even had a mini Christmas tree at the house to make the stay more festive. Thank you for all you did for us and allowing us to stay at this piece of heaven! We can’t wait to return!

Amazing property

Pictures do not do this home justice! The property feels so secluded (in the best possible way) while still being close to everything you could want: wineries, stores, restaurants, etc. Diane was so kind and helpful. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and it was clear by all the thoughtful touches in her home that she truly cares about being a welcoming host. The home was very clean, well stocked, and taken care of. A few other reviewers mentioned bugs here and there which made me a bit worried but now that we've stayed there I think it should be expected when you're staying on a property like this. All I can say is that this was one of our favorite trips and we can't wait to stay here again!!!

Girls Weekend

We loved ever minute of our weekend at the Sweetlife! It was everything we hoped for and more - great location, beautiful house, and amazing country views. The host Diane was responsive and helpful from the first time I engaged her, before the reservation was even confirmed. She gave recommendations for where to eat and fun things to do in the area. The house is perfectly located. We wanted to get out of the city and disconnect, but also wanted to be close by fun things to do, and this house was perfect. It is located at the top of a hill with beautiful views, away from neighbors and city noises. At night the star gazing is incredible from the hot tub, the sun rise and sunsets were also amazing. We also saw hawks and deer from the yard.. During the day there are many wineries close by and lots of things to do. We took Diane’s recommendation and made brunch reservations at Cass Winery. We actually walked there from the house, which was lovely and made for a fun day! The house itself is very comfortable. It is perfectly appointed with everything you can think of - extra towels for the jacuzzi, lighters for the fire pit, wood for the fireplace, full kitchen with everything you need to cook and super comfortable beds! We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and didn’t want to leave. I hope we will get the opportunity to come back again some day soon.

Paradise Lost

The property is large, quiet and beautiful. Sadly, however, this is a once grand house in a state of neglect. Walls had portions that were only partially plastered, not yet completely done, and badly in need of painting. Worse, a dead mouse was found in a kitchen cupboard along with droppings in a closet area. Also, one of the guest room beds had in it what appeared to be dog food, thus requiring a linen change. A foul odor emanated from the refrigerator and a hair brush was found in the cushions of the sofa. Also, although we were told that there would be at least 3 days since the previous guests 'stay, comments in the guest book were from the previous day. We also were told that new guests would arrive on the day of our scheduled departure, contrary to the 24 hour interlude stated in the listing. On a more positive note, in fairness, the house was well supplied and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, VRBO and the owner need to know that the cleaning crew is not doing its job! Again, the interior cleanliness left much to be desired. We feel we were misled in that the photos and description gave no hint of disrepair or neglect. We also, never received texted or emailed directions as promised and the home is not easily found. VRBO should be upfront about its policy regarding times in between stays. In conclusion, great vacation setting, but disappointing housekeeping and management. We would hesitate to go through VRBO again.

This was our 2nd stay in this house (first was in Oct 2022) and it was just as we remembered. The house is spacious and comfortable and the countryside is so pretty and peaceful!! We stayed in for dinner for all 3 nights - the kitchen is very well stocked!! We had a wonderful time!
