“This is a lovely hotel and the staff put it over the top. I love staying here.”

“The bathtub was old and tiles had mold in between the tiles. The beds were very uncomfortable as the mattresses were sinking. The pull out couch mattress was in terrible condition. Had to ask for new towels everyday as they did not replenish them daily. Paid premium price for a stay that was disappointing.”

“Upon arriving the room smelled of sewage. The shower did not drain. I saw a couple of bugs in the kitchenette area.”

I really love the bed so comfortable clean kitchen everything was on point no stress at all I would really recommend them and if I can any chance to visit BC I would just come back at the same address near to the malls every thing is just around the corner. “I am very disappointed at the handling of a midnight fire alarm. While it is more than understandable that emergencies happen, how this one was handled is the basis of this review. During this stressful and potentially serious event, nothing and I mean nothing, was ever communicated. We exited through the rear stairwell with many others, the closest exit, but no hotel representative ever showed to organize and inform the group. “The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...
