âEverything was very well taken care of except the pool building which was an awful first impression of the property since it is the first thing you see upon arrival. Rotten and decaying siding and what isnât is In need of repainting. A sharp contrast to the rest of the buildings and grounds which were beautiful.â
âThe inn was marvelous. The inn keeper and her husband the maintenance man were charming and responsive to our needs and kept the place immaculate. The restaurant was dissapointing. Service was terrible, eggs were over cooked. Toast was slathered in butter (I think it was butter). No salt, pepper or any other condiments were on the table and the waitress was no where to be found so we ate the meal as it was getting cold. We did not go back the next dayâ
âThe owner was very attentive and helpful with all of our requests. He was truly thankful for us staying at the Inn. The Inn was nicely decorated and full of history which was shared throughout. The outside area was inviting with different seating options from couches to tables and chairs to Adirondack chairs under a tree and by the river. There was also a 2 seater swing.
