KumBaYah Cottage, marsh-side, under the Live Oaks. Hike, bike or cart to beach!

Feel the original Pawleys "pull" from this remodeled 1950’s cottage just one block from marsh and the South Causeway bridge. One king and one queen bed will accommodate up to 4 guests. Out back you will find a large deck space under a very large beautiful old oak tree. The front screened in porch provides the perfect place to sip on a glass of sweet tea and watch the neighbors go by. Guests will find a newly fenced yard and an outside beach shower.
The space
Small, historic cottage that has been remodeled with modern amenities but still retaining the charm of Pawleys Island.

The home includes a small living room, a dinette set for four, a TV room, first bedroom with a king size bed, smart TV, dresser and a large desk, second bedroom with a queen bed and small closet. There is a laundry room off the main bedroom with closet shelves and a hanging rack, the kitchen is fully equipped, including a stocked coffee stand. Both bathrooms have showers with a bench.

Out back you will find a nice wood deck with a table, umbrella and 4 chairs, also an outside shower and propane grill.

The front of the home includes a traditional Pawleys Island screened in porch, 4 rockers & 2 side tables. Either porch is perfect for relaxing while sipping sweet tea and telling stories.
Guest access
There is a driveway which can park 2 vehicles easily.
Other things to note
Our guests rent both bikes and golf carts for their trips to the beach. The closest beach access is a 12 minute bike or cart ride. The marsh is a beautiful landscape with picturesque birds and tall sea grass. It provides the perfect picture setting. Many folks fish or crab off of the Causeway Bridge one block away. Please note we do allow a dog with pre-approval. There is no fee but there is a higher cleaning fee so please list your dog on your reservation.
