The home itself was beautifully decorated and spacious. However the rear porch was filthy with grease from the grill and mildewed furniture. We didn't feel comfortable using it. Other than that the house itself is very nice. Our issue is that it is advertised as Litchfield and we assumed it was part of the properties. It is not. We rented a golf cart to take the kids back and forth to the pool only to learn that isn't possible. You have to go back out to Hwy 17 which isn't accessible by golf cart. We did drive over one day to take the kids but it was like a day trip rather than convenient. Also, no one seemed to want to take responsibility of our concerns. We let our VRBO representative know the morning after check in that the refrigerator filter lights were on and apparently had been because the filter was so clogged that no water comes out! We were told to go to the "Front Desk". What front desk? We rented a home not a hotel room! She told me that "they" take over concerns. Finally, the ad mentions ocean breeze on the front porch. This home is NOT close to the ocean and no breeze could be felt on the porch. In fact, we had to take a vehicle and our golf cart to the beach each time because it was too far for children to walk. Again, if you're looking for a beautiful home and don't care about the pool or beach (or screen porch)...this one may be it. It wasn't what we were expecting and was quite a disappointment.
