  • Inbäddat på en avskild körning i hjärtat av Seneca sjön vinled är vår sjö hem vi kallar Herbst's Hideaway. Koppla av i denna luftkonditionerade 2300 kvm ft hem som bokstavligen är 10 fot från otrolig nivå lakeshore. Panoramautsikten är hisnande. Vi har också en 100 ft dockning som leder till en stor plattform som gör att du kan njuta av solen, bada och koppla av till ditt hjärta eller lyssna på musik från Russound Multiroom Entertainment System (Sirius Satellite Radio
    och IPhone-docka - också i huvudhuset och varje sovrum). Använd paddelbåten eller 2 tandemkajaker för att rodda till badflotten. Njut av de fyra privata king size-sovrummen (två med badrum) och håll barnen tillsammans på de två uppsättningarna med våningssängar.

This was our third year at this wonderful property and we’re coming back again in 2027. It’s the perfect size for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. Everything you need to prepare meals and have fun in the lake is provided. Matt’s communications were great. He responded to our questions clearly and quickly.

We had an amazing time!! This house comes fully equipped with everything you could imagine. It is absolutely beautiful and perfect for your lake vacation! Matt was great with communication and easy to work with! Would definitely stay here again! Next time I would bring slippers cause the AC in the house works so well that the tile floors do get pretty cold, but that would be my only suggestion for people! You cannot go wrong booking this place!!!

Large open living room/dining room with a well stocked beautiful kitchen. The bedrooms were all spacious and clean with plenty of gorgeous bathrooms for our group. The view of the sunrise over Seneca Lake was spectacular. I thought the mattress topper in the master made it too soft but that’s my preference.

place was well stocked with housewares to make our meals in the evening. Convenient to the wine trail being halfway up the west side. i would definitely rent from again.

Herbst's Hideaway was a beautiful house with a breathtaking lakefront view! The house was spotless with a well equipped perfectly clean kitchen. The dishware pattern was so pretty and was all matching and had a large quantity. There was a Keurig and regular coffee maker. The linens were plush and clean. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and spotless. Communication with Matt was the best! I highly recommend this property!

The Kitchen was so well equipped. Host was so helpful. beautiful view and memories made on lovely dock with great chairs. Comfortable beds plenty of towels in bathrooms.

Beautiful home on Seneca Lake. The bedrooms were large, clean, and had enough room for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a closet full of toys and games that the kids loved! Outside, there wasn't a beach, but the ladders on the dock made it easy to access the water to use the kayaks. Water shoes and life jackets were also provided. I wish the water had been warm enough to swim in! We will have to plan to come later in the Summer next time.

If you’re looking for a place that you can just bring your food and your clothes and enjoy everything. This is the place for you. This host has everything you need in the home from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the outside activities. They have made it so easy to just walk in the door and relax I know we’ll be back

Fantastic Summer Stay!

My family and I had a fantastic time once again at this beautiful lake house! The location is right on beautiful Seneca Lake and is super close to the wineries/breweries. Matt was always available if we had questions and the house was very clean. We loved our stay!

This was our group’s 5th year at Herbst Hideaway! The location is fantastic for wining, dining, relaxing and just hanging out. Matt is super responsive and the house has everything we need. We already booked 2026!
