Hotellet håller utmärkt standard, trevlig och hjälpsam personal, bra rum och Ibiskedjans lite kuriösa men utrymmessparande badrum i plast. Amsterdams hotell tar ut hutlösa priser och staden själv lägger på en grym daglig turistskatt. Man kan få för sig att de inte vill ha turister …"

"We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday, and we could not have been more pleased. The staff were exceptionally helpful in arranging the special details for our celebration, which made the occasion truly memorable. The hotel itself was very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the sauna and swimming pool after our long walks in Amsterdam. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we are very happy we chose this hotel!"

"I returned to The Lancaster Hotel after a great previous stay, but this visit was deeply upsetting. A simple question at the front desk quickly escalated into a situation where I felt misjudged, cornered, and treated with visible hostility by three staff members – including the manager, who was immediately aggressive in tone. I remained calm and respectful, but their reaction was so disproportionate it felt surreal. I had just paid over 500 euros and found myself in a space where I no longer felt safe, welcome, or even seen as a guest. The worst part wasn’t the extra charge – it was the feeling of being pushed into submission through intimidation. Whether intentional or not, the energy was aggressive and alienating. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable in a hotel environment. I left feeling shaken and would never return."
