“The hotel is centrally located and the owner/hosts are very nice, helpful and kind. The city centre is just around the corner and the beach close by. Ideal for a combination of activities and stop over. There are several restaurants nearby as well as a beach for a swim.”

“Een balkamer met piano, schitterende locatie en zeer centraal. Zeer smaakvol ingericht. Gratis parkeren voor de deur. Soepel inchecken, heel fijn ontbijt bij een ander palazzo op paar minuten loopafstand. Het mooiste logeeradres voor een redelijke prijs in Sicilie. Zou er wel een week willen blijven. Je voelt je de koning te rijk.”

“Our family had a lovely stay around new year's. Lovely temperatur with around 22c in the sun.
The hotel is located close to Chiaramonte Gulfi on the country side with nice views.
The staff are realy helpful and friendly. Breakfast is realy tasteful with lots of locale food. <3

“Exceptional Ragusa experience! When we booked this property we did not know much about it as there were only 22 reviews. However, it turned out to be one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays during our 2 week trip around Sicily. The property is in a beautifully maintained historical family Palazzo. The beautiful historical furniture and artifacts contribute to the unique accommodations. Our room was an upgraded suite which was very comfortable and spacious. ”

“Beautiful hotel, clean with amazing views of the country side and nice poolside. Highly recommend adding on breakfast - high quality buffet with countless choices and barista making coffee drink of your choice. Note that the pool is not heated therefore could not swim beginning of June. Gym is scarcely equipped, would not count on using it. “Absolutely beautiful hotel with beautiful decour. Gorgeous grounds & 2 pools. Very good breakfast. Excellent location.
What bothered my husband & me was the hotel wanted to charge for everything. We were charged extra to use the safe in the room! They wanted to charge us to get a new pool towel each day! They expect you to use the same wet, sweaty towel the next day or get charged for a new one. They charge you 20 euro to get 2 chairs & an umbrella on the beach! I could go on & on.

"For anyone who didn’t look at all the photos of this hotel, you’ll be staying in a petrol station, on the main road leading to Modica. While we could have looked through to image 25 and the satellite images, we had unfortunately not done so this time (but will be sure to do so in the future).
This was the start to a stay that left a lot to be desired. Cleaning at this supposedly 4 star property apparently does not involve ensuring that the bathroom is stocked with soap and schampoo. Neither does it involve removing dirty dishes (coffee cups provided by the hotel) nor does it involve changing visibly dirty bed linen. Just making the bed up as is and putting the dishes on the side is enough here.
The hotel also claim to have a private beach. We were sent on a wild goose chase by the front desk to find said beach, only to find that the place they sent us to didn’t exist, and once we had managed to find this supposedly private beach, it was indeed very private, but not for the guests of this hotel - but rather for guests staying at their separate hotel located on the beach.
All in all, this is a fantastic hotel if you want to spend your holiday keeping track on those who runs from their bill at the gas station. "
