Skidstuga / Sommarvilla vid basen av Boyne Mountain

En härlig, snyggt utsedd, mycket ren marknivå lägenhet. Bara meter från bergets botten är det en helt ombyggd villa som har allt du behöver för ett fantastiskt äventyr på berget. Det finns parkering precis utanför ytterdörren vilket gör det enkelt att få bagage och utrustning laddad och lossad.

Endast en lägenhet byggnad från Mountain Villa L545, är denna lägenhet precis vid foten av berget. Det finns tre sovrum och två fulla bad. Ett sovrum har två drottningar, den andra har en queen size-säng och en full säng, och den tredje har en full säng. Hallen har senaste uppdateringar med en vacker eldstad, ett fullt matbord med stolar och ett uppdaterat kök med alla bekvämligheter. Det finns också en stapelbar tvättmaskin och torktumlare så att du har allt du behöver för att göra dig själv hemma.

En kort promenad tar dig till allt som resorten på Boyne Mountain har att erbjuda, inklusive vattenpark, restauranger och butiker. Eller hoppa i bilen och vara vid stranden av Lake Charlevoix eller staden Boyne City på mindre än 10 minuter. Petoskey och Charlevoix ligger 20 minuter från berget.

Good for location and a basic ski cabin

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Location is good for easy access to the slopes and restaurants, etc. Bed were very uncomfortable and I was surprised with the lack of supplies we usually find at a VRBO (cleaning supplies like a broom or vacuum, disinfectant cleaning spray, etc.) There is also zero storage space available for your clothing. Outside of one dresser in one of the bedrooms, we had to keep everything in our bags. Not a deal breaker, just things that would have been helpful to know.

Steps to Slopes and Dining

Short walk to the slopes, restaurants, and other amenities. 2 bathrooms were clean and stocked with plenty of towels. The 5 beds were plenty for everyone in my party to get their rest between days on the slopes. The kitchen and living area space would be a bit tight for large meals or if everyone wanted to hang out at the same time. That didn’t matter to us because we kept only drinks in the fridge and snacks on the counter. We had planned to eat out anyway and loved all the restaurants. We were on the go at all times when we weren’t sleeping. It was great for some in our to be able to walk bank when they were tired for the day because it’s so close. We had a blast, and we’d definitely come back to this unit!

Great Place to stay for a large family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had rented the condo because we wanted to within walking distance of the chairlifts and accommodate a large family. This was perfect for our needs. We had 8 adults and 3 children and even though it appeared to be smaller than that which we normally require, this worked out well. The communication with Matt was outstanding and prompt. Everything was as described. Only a couple of things stood out, first and foremost, we didn't have ESPN available to us on the evening of the CFB Semi-final games (Michigan Lost, but it would have been nice to be able watch it from the condo). We had difficulty closing and locking the bathroom door near the single queen bedroom and had difficulty flushing as well. Parking was also a mess as it appears that there were groups staying in the other condos that had more than 2 cars. We had to park a distance from the condo and had our 3rd park over by the tennis courts. Maybe some designated parking should be display. Nothing to ruin a trip, just a couple of things that stood out. Again, it was perfect for our crew.

The villa is very cozy and we enjoyed and used the fireplace everyday. A few things we wished for were: 1. Better lighting in the kitchen, it is very dark on that side of the room and makes it challenging to cook. 2. The TV cabinet in the corner takes up space that would be better suited for another comfortable chair, to add more seating in the living room area, especially since the TV can be mounted on the wall. Regardless, we had a wonderful time!
