Walloon Lakefront - Wooded & Serene - året runt

113 'av vacker, trädbevuxen lakefront egendom på den främsta delen av Walloon Lake, inbäddat bredvid Mackinaw State Forest. Njut av dramatisk utsikt över vallonska sjön från det expansiva däck som sveper runt två sidor av huset, som är inbyggt i en sluttning med utsikt över sjön. Ett utmärkt läge för skidåkare (15 minuter till Boyne Mountain och 30 minuter till Boyne Highlands och Nubs Nob) och snöskoter (fryst Walloon Lake ger utkörning / inresa till Charlevoix, Emmet, Cheboygan och Otsego County spår).

Huset är fullt utrustat med bekvämligheter för en mycket avkopplande vistelse, inklusive gourmetkök med dryckskylskåp, 60-tums HDTV på lägre nivå, Bose ljudsystem på huvudnivå, propangrill med hög kapacitet, kompletta däckmöbler och docka med stor båt brunn och soldäck. Bara 10 minuter till både Boyne City och Walloon Village och 20 minuter till både Petoskey och Charlevoix. Kök / matsal / vardagsrum är öppet koncept med fantastisk utsikt över sjön via två 9 'skjutbara dörrväggar. Fantastisk sjöutsikt och mycket rymlig känsla via takvåningens katedraltak mot vattnet. Walk-out lägre nivå har också fantastisk sjöutsikt från TV-området och sovrummet.

Detta väl inbyggda hus sover 12 i sängar (13 med futon): Sovrum ett (första våningen) har en queen size-säng med master badkar och skjutdörrvägg till däck; sovrum två (andra våningen) har en uppsättning av enkelsängar och en uppsättning våningssängar; sovrum tre (andra våningen) har en queen size-säng; sovrum på andra våningen delar ett "Jack-n-Jill" badrum; sovrum fyra (lägre nivå) har en king size-säng, 9 "breda fönster med utsikt över sjön, och direkt tillgång till lägre nivå badrum. TV-område på lägre nivå har också en bäddsoffa med trissa (sova för två), en futon och en våt bar.

Första våningen har också ett halvt badrum.
Ytterligare bekvämligheter inkluderar tvättmaskin och torktumlare i full storlek, diskmaskin, trådlöst höghastighetsinternet och tanklös vattenvärmare som ger en oavbruten tillförsel av varmt vatten.
Njut av den flytande badplattformen och garvningsområdet på bryggan. Fantastiskt bad för familjens kul med mycket gradvis drop-off.

För vinterbokningar Observera: Sunterra Trail är privat plogat och slipat - eftersom det är kuperat med ett par vassa svängar rekommenderas allhjulsdrivna fordon med bra däck starkt för att säkerställa enkel åtkomst till och från huset.

Beautiful large lake view home in a private setting! Plenty of room for eight adults and a golden retriever. Easy check-in and great communication with the host. Lots of games for all to enjoy – ping pong, pool, shuffle board, etc. Really enjoyed the patio with fire pit and plenty of space for all and equally enjoyed the spacious dock for lounging in the sun. The paddle boards were a nice addition! Can’t wait until our next visit!

Beautiful property with beautiful views! It's a lovely, very private property but close to town.We stayed with six of our adult children and had a wonderful time. The house was extremely well-stocked, house was clean, and beds were comfortable. There were extra towels, blankets, and sheets. We rented the pontoon for a day and David was very helpful with instructions and usage of the boat. The lake wasn't overrun with boats either- a few boats and jet skis but even on Labor Day weekend it wasn't crowded. Overall great stay!

Walloon Family Vacation

Excellent stay on Walloon Lake! House had everything that we needed for our family (6 adults, 3 small children)! Clean! Loved the 2 refrigerators that were available due to the size of our group. Swimming area was very nice down at the dock. Perfect for the young kids! Appreciate the hoist for our boat rental! David was an excellent host. Very responsive to any questions we may have had. Appreciated his recommendation regarding a pontoon rental for our stay. Overall a great stay! Would definitely return!

Online looks bigger

Bedrooms upstairs a/c units need to be cleaned or replaced.Too hot. Needed to clean outside garbage up from outside trash bins,animals I would guess.However,it was stocked with everything,such as paper towels,toilet paper,garbage bags.That was nice.

Spectacular views!

We rented this home and the neighboring property for a golf centric trip. Both homes are fantastic. The amenities are wonderful and the lake views from each home are spectacular. For what it’s worth, there are multiple golf options. We would definitely rent these properties again.

Family vacation

We loved everything about our stay! David was very responsive and easy to work with. The house is great and worked very well for three generations of family staying together. Great week on the lake!

This was our third year renting this property, and as always, it was a wonderful stay. The property is first class, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a family vacation. Highlights are the fantastic deck, the sandbar, and the beautiful view of Walloon. Will be back again next year!

One of the most beautiful spots I've stayed

The location/setting of this house is amazing, and the host is exceptionally cooperative, both of which led to a terrific vacation overall. First and foremost, without the cooperation of the host, this vacation wouldn't even have happened, so he's very good to work with. Walloon Lake is big, warm, and excellent for all kinds of water activities, even in June when many of the other lakes are too chilly. The paddle boards and kayaks included with the house were awesome. The view from the deck was beautiful, and the gas fire pit up there was great for s'mores! The house is perfect for extended family - three floors gave us all plenty of room to spread out and make ourselves at home. All that being said, and as other reviewers have noted, the house is a bit tired, and it has the same issues as many of the houses on lakes in Michigan do. There is a significant ant problem in the kitchen (host has bait out, but those little buggers were very persistent and we had to keep everything sealed tightly), and the basement is pretty dark and damp (not wet, just damp). Kitchen cabinets are peeling, bathrooms are functional but dated, and towels could use a good bleaching and or replacement. There was also very little water pressure in all of the sinks (though the showers were ok and the toilets worked fine). Anyway, overall I would still highly recommend this place because of the host, the location, and the overall functionality of the house. We had a lovely vacation.

Perfect Family Vacation!

This home was perfect for our family! It’s beautiful, incredibly roomy and has every amenity you could possibly need…starting with a great location and view! Hidden gem!

We loved this spacious and beautiful home on Walloon Lake! There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, and it had all of the comforts of home. We were sad to leave. We hope to be back next year and maybe rent the other cottage next door!

Truly fantastic week with our family

What a wonderful week in a spectacular setting on Walloon Lake! The property photos were very accurate and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat dock, boat, paddle boards and fire pit areas. The location was excellent walkable to Boyne city and just a quick trip into the Foot at Walloon. The trail hikes were fantastic! Thanks for a wonderful stay!
