We booked this hotel unexpectedly after our flight was cancelled following a long trip from Europe. The primary reason we chose this hotel was the advertised free airport shuttle service.
At approximately 4:00 p.m., I called the hotel to request the shuttle, following the instructions provided on your website. We experienced a long wait before someone answered the call. Unfortunately, the staff member who answered was extremely impatient and informed us that there was no driver available at the hotel. When I asked about alternative arrangements, I was told, “I don’t know.” I then asked whether we could take an Uber and be reimbursed, to which she replied “no” and abruptly ended the call.
Contrary to the information provided, the hotel is not as close to the airport as advertised. As a result, we had no choice but to take an Uber, which cost us USD 25.
In addition, the hotel itself appears quite old. The room was small, and there were several visible stains on the bedding.
Given the circumstances and the unavailability of the promised shuttle service, I kindly request reimbursement for the USD 25 Uber expense. I look forward to your solution.
