Visit to our old home town
We are past FH residents who rented this condo for 3 1/2 weeks in Jan/Feb. The condo is very comfortable and well stocked, nice amenities. The location is great, close to everything we needed. Lovely views from the back of the complex - and Red Rock from the unit. Hiking trails in the McDowells are better than ever - new trails, spectacular views and very well marked & maintained. Would love to rent again. Thank you, Tim!

Tim was great to work with. No dramas with the process and he was very responsive. Condo units in Little Fountain are aged and although our unit had some remodeling further upgrades would improve the experience. The grounds and pool area are very clean. Unfortunately with the cold weather we didn’t use the pool.

Property was wonderful Tim and his morals not so much
Loved the spot Tim seemed nice until he sent an extra 180 dollar bill for cleaning after staying a month. Bedding was stripped, all of the carpets were vacuumed, and all of the laundry was left in a pile by the washer. Tim described it as a filthy dirty mess I would love to see the filthy dirty mess that was left to cost a 180 dollar additional cleaning fee on top of the 135 already paid. Tim also kept the scrubs that were left at the property. We messaged him shortly after we left, but Tim did not respond. Thank you Tim for the kind words you left me please and please send the scrubs as soon as you receive the message that you have ignored for weeks

The additional cleaning services were required by the cleaning service. This is not typical as seen in previous reviews, but required in this case.

Comfortable condo, convenient location, good facilities
This condo is comfortable, quiet, well equipped. The beds are great. The condo sits on the edge of the desert and affords a view of Red Mountain. The complex offers a hot tub that is very warm with great jets and a pool that is nicely heated for wintertime. We recommend this condo for sure!

Very clean and nice for the money, but ...
Everything was clean and well kept. This is a very convenient location in Fountain Hills. There is only one slight problem; the master bedroom has some sort of electrical transformer or ballast on the outside wall. It produces a constant audible humming sound that prevented my wife and I from being able to sleep in the master on the king bed. Once you hear it, you can't stop noticing it in the otherwise very quiet bedroom. We ended up sleeping on the queen bed in the second bedroom for the week we stayed. Whatever it is that is making this sound should be fixed by the HOA. Hopefully it gets taken care of, as otherwise this is a very nice and quiet condo. The pool was very nice, warm, and clean. A bonus is that it uses salt water instead of chlorine.

Best Condo Ever
I have had several experiences with VBRO an this was heaven. So clean, stocked, updated furniture and the pool was so clean and warm. Tim the manager was so friendly and was there for whatever you might need. I would give this a 10 star rating and will definitely go back.

5* Experience
Tim was an excellent host. Shortly after arriving the coffee unit died. Within hours of letting him know he delivered a brand new Keurig to us. The pictures of the unit and the mountain view from the patio are as advertised. We walked the fountain path almost every day and enjoyed the restaurant choices within 1-2 miles of the unit. Absolutely no complaints.

Appreciation Definitely a Function of Interests
First, this property was beautifully decorated. For us, to the point that it detracted from it's "livability". It also seemed a little small but that might be a function of being used to more living space at both home and in other condos we had rented in the Fountain Hills area. The location was great which was why the condo was initially considered. Again, this might be a function of personal interests. Kitchen appliances/supplies/utensils were functional. A few disappointments that, again, may be a function of personal perspective. One was that we had to deal with a property manager. Seems like paying for two different administrative arms is excessive considering that additional documentation had to be signed beyond what was already covered by HomeAway. There is a transformer box on the outside wall behind the master bedroom. It basically buzzed loud enough to be a distraction all of the time. The owner and managers did not seem to be aware that this ever was noticed in the past. Hard to imagine that folks could be so indifferent to a noise in the bedroom. Also seemed to me that the "high speed" internet that requires a surcharge was not functionally that high speed. Theoretically, 5G allows more bandwidth than 2G but true bandwidth throughput is a little more complicated. Anticipated much better performance for essentially twenty extra bucks a week. Some little things were also a detraction. The baking pan/cookie sheet was rusted and the surface of some of the non-stick cooking pans were a little beat up, and most of the cooking knives left much to be desired. Apparently, no one ever thinks of putting a desk in a rental condo. The cleaning fee also struck me as excessive for such a small place. On the positive side, the washer and dryer were very nice though smaller models. The view off the back porch was great offering a desert scene greatly enjoyed with the morning coffee or over a beverage with colleagues. Though we did not get to enjoy them to the extent we would have liked, the workout facilities were functional along with the whirlpool swimming pool being a real bonus. Overall, it was very nice and I would probably stay there again but it may not be my first choice. Certainly, might fit the needs of a casual vacationer or others with more relaxed pursuits in the area than what we had.

Immaculate, beautifully appointed home.
We could not have been more pleased. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo was perfectly maintained. The thoughtful “stocking” of designer linens and towels, the full compliment of utensils and dishes in the kitchen, the full washer and dryer all made for a comfortable, easy stay.

The place was amazing - so clean. We loved it. My son has his own bedroom and so much easier then a hotel. The WiFi didn’t work but it was ok to be without ( except my data plan took a hit!) Would recommend this place to anyone !!

Excellent overall experience. The pool is nicely heated, love the hot sauna/whirlpool and the workout room is in the same spot as the pool and sauna. Very quiet and peaceful. See you next time!!!
