The Staff are Great, they are very Friendly and always Smiling even if you have problems, the Room are Big and the Bathroom and Toilet are Big, Nice Room, Swimpool are not big but very nice, the Restaurant and the Bar are great,the chefkok are Great.

The staff were first rate, the property itself was a bit run down but for the price was great. Being a little away from Bangla road and the crowds were what I wanted but if you want to get there it’s a 15 minute walk. Overall I got to relax and explore. I got the bungalow so not sure what the basic rooms are like.

Shower head was broken and water went everywhere, they did fix it straight away though, tap leaked from the base when you used it. Bed was rock hard. Pillows were hard too. Steps into the pool are sharp stones so it hurts your feet walking in. Traffic noise. Restaurant closes at 6pm which is far too early.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel at a very pieceful locality....good archetechture design...but other amenities like bike on rent, taxi service and islands tour were quite expensive when we compared with nearby agents. All staff except at reception were not able to understand English.

Actually it didnt have toothpaste n toothpick in the bath room, the bathhub looks dirt n damaged, i texted the hotel about renting car but they didnt reply me finally, the whole look of the hotel is old n a little bit damaged, the staffs are nice, but have to ask about the adapter, hair dryer, the bathroom had so much ants.

The property is conveniently located, off a very busy, somewhat marginal road however, it is run down. The bedroom had a great AC and good water pressure- BUT- the BED was sooo hard it was worse than sleeping on the floor. Thanks god there’s a massage parlor right outside the property. The room also had a balcony door that did not close properly (mosquitos bitting us all night) and the shower liner barely kept water in the shower because it was sooo old and flimsy. The one good thing- was the sheets and towels were clean. Would not stay here again.

On their hotel website they mention they have a gym, sauna and a shuttle to the beach. None of this is true or correct. They don't replenish and restock the shampoo and shower gel. The rooms are really dirty even after they come in to clean them. The rooms need a huge upgrade. They also don't provide any entertainment or activities at the hotel, which I thought was really ofd and strange. The front desk staff and the waiting staff at the pool are great and all of them are kind. The location is great. Very close to beach, nightclub, restaurants, shops. Etc I realized that I booked a cost effective and reasonably priced hotel, but I would have paid double if there was a gym, sauna and if I had a TV that actually worked where you could see the screen.

Do not book this hotel

I dont really know where to start.. There was so much bad about this hotel.. The area this hotel lies in kinda smells and is really rundown. Pretty close to the hotel there is a big pack of dogs howling repeatedly during the night. The room doesnt look anything like the pictures on the website. The paint are peeling, there is loose floorboard, the woodframe around the mirror in the bathroom are broken in some places, there is stuff missing from the sink, the bed is really hard and generally the furniture needs replacing. After about 30-40mins in the room the AC breaks. So I go to report it so they can fix it, Which takes maybe 2-3 hours, so they fix the AC and it works maybe for 15mins before breaking again. But the repairman had gone home so I had to wait 2-3 hours again so he could fix it. And after he has fixed it it only works for 15 mins again. So now the AC is completely broken and I need to wait until the next day for him to "fix it" again. So at this point I demand a new room, but the man at reception told me they are fully booked the the next few days so I cant get a new room. So I go up and start searching on hotels.com, and I'm very surprised to see that this hotel is offering rooms for tonight. So the man at the reception lied to me. So I stay the night (With dogs barking and other sounds and no AC) DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT AN ENJOYABLE VACATION.

Bamboo - Patong

Hyfsat hotell om man vill bo på den lugna delen av Patong. Rummet var helt ok. Vissa rum låg nära träden vilket gjorde att man stördes lite av små-mygg. Poolen var inte så mycket att hurra för pga att träden runtomkring hade vuxit sig för höga så det var skugga över stora delar av poolområdet. Stort plus att de hade ett gym. Frukosten var godkänd också.

Det är mer en 2 stjärnig hotell och inte tre stjärnig. Slitet hotell, på bild ser de annorlunda ut. Dock trevlig personal. Läget var bra, 10 min promenad till stan.

Nice spot to stay if you got one of the new rooms

The hotel is a nice hideaway. It’s located in a nice garden with a nice pool. The rooms have a huge variation in the standard. The renovated rooms are very nice. The service was extraordinary- everyone is very kind and lovely.

We stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago and always said we would go back, so we returned in November. The hotel was very much as we remembered it, but was also being updated following COVID, when I would think they had had few guests and had been left to run down some what. That said, each day workman were on side renovating the whole complex, this work was being done very quietly and with little use of power tools (we were almost unaware of there presence). Our room was good with everything we needed and as advertised,. The A/C worked well and was pretty quiet. The bathroom was fine, although the bath was a little worn to the base and could do with re- coating or changing. The pool and surrounding areas are lovely for relaxing and cooling off, with about a dozen sunbeds, brollies and tables. There are quite a lot of steps and no lift, so would probably not suit anyone with mobility issues. The staff are all brilliantly friendly and helpful, with pretty good English, nothing is too much trouble for them if you ask. Breakfast is not a buffet but, you can have eggs anyway you like them with meats or salad, toast with jam, fruits and as much tea or coffee as you like and fruit juice, plus almost anything from the main menu, although some things are at extra cost. The hotel is about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the beach and town centre, so is a quiet place, but is also close enough to bars and restaurants if you don't fancy the walk. Enjoyed it so much, going again in November
