âThe hotel room was excellent. Situated right in the middle of Clarens you can walk everywhere from the hotel. Rooms overlooking the village green can be a little noisey but not overly so and rooms overlooking the mountains are quieter. Room very nicely decorated and contained four poster bed and fireplace, high end spec air conditioning, hair dryer, shower all much appreciated. Caring staff and good service including laundry facility. Restaurant Vito's is underneath and serves good Italian food...

âWindmill Farm has nicely renovated chalet with all the necessary equipment. The manager is very nice and helpful.
The chalets have beautiful view over the mountains with the drawback that it is windy.
We used it as a base for visiting Rojal Natal National Park and it worked very well.

âWe had a 1 night stay over at the Golden Gate hotel. We initially thought we booked at the hotel but was surprised that we had booked a chalet. The chalet was perfect with its own braai (BBQ) outside and all the amenities required for a proper self catering experience. Would definitely stay there again as it about a 15 minute scenic drive to Clarens.â

âQwantani is a beautiful oasis in the mountains with a variety of activities to help you explore and connect with the land. The accommodations are simple but comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A lovely pool to cool off in. The location is stunning, with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and dam. The only catch is you have to drive about 30-40 minutes on a dirt road with potholes to get there! But completely worth the drive!!â
