“Alberto is a fantastic host who goes out of his way to help. His place is tucked into the top floor and has a side deck that is beautiful. One has to ascend to the bed area by a ships ladder but its very comfy. Also the shower is fabulous. A real treat to stay here. ”

“Wonderful family owner renovated 1920’s palace which has secure parking in an excellent location on the edge of the beautiful old city. The owner and staff give their very best to make your stay the best it can be. Highly recommend the first floor front rooms which have a lovely terrace to enjoy a drink on in the morning sunshine. The Garbo also has a spa in the room! Breakfast was always a warm, friendly, fun filled occasion”

“This is a very nice place to stay, conveniently located in the Old Town. Our suite was spacious and very clean. As is often the case in Italy, the balcony is more decorative than functional, which was true here as well. We decided to use the rooftop terrace for a glass of wine in the late evening. Our only critique is that there should have been some lighting available. The staff was nice and the breakfast was okay.”

“Staff is good and location is great. The need for improvement should be in amenities and infrastructure, ie breakfast, towels, soap, tissues and ventilation. Overall it is more a boutique hotel and shouldn’t be advertise as a five star establishment.”

“This was the worst experience I have ever had. The car pulled up in front of a garage with no indication there was a hotel inside the building. We found an elevator at the back with no signage indicating there was a hotel or where the hotel was located. Once we found the floor the hotel was on we could not enter as the door was locked. We finally got the hotel clerk on the intercom who tried to tell us how to enter, but we could not understand him until several tries. He would not come to the...

“Bodde under fyra nätter. Lägenheten var centralt och nära till restauranger, livsmedelsaffär. och sevärdheter. Mycket bra säng, fint kök och rymlig lägenhet. Dock var köksutrustningen något bristfällig. Francesco var hjälpsam.”
