Tauern Suites Walchen is located a short distance from the famous Zell am See - Kaprun, on the southern slope of the picturesque Walchen (Piesendorf). It offers a magical combination of mountains, lakes, and glaciers. In the winter months, the ski areas of Kaprun (Maiskogel and Kitzsteinhorn) and Zell am See provide excellent conditions for skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. The summer is perfect for cycling and hiking tours. Due to its central location in beautiful Salzburgerland, the Krimml waterfalls, golf course, casino, swimming pools, and Lake Zell am See are easily accessible. As a guest, you can take advantage of the Guest Mobility Ticket, which offers free public transportation throughout the region (Salzburgerland). A day trip to the beautiful city of Salzburg is also a great idea. For fresh bread rolls in the morning, you can visit the supermarket just 300 meters away.
