The box spring on the bed was broken and had fallen through the frame so was half on the floor, the carpeting was sticky. The shower in my father's room did not work. The outside door locks were not engaged, even at midnight. The NON smoking room we booked smelled like an ashtray. The stairs had holes in the metal. There were NO TOP SHEETS only a fitted sheet and a very light small comforter.

we are sorry you did not get the experience you needed! did you tell staff about the bed being broken? if known we would of had it fixed our apologies. we are under construction still we are getting to the areas mentioned asap. one of our housekeepers makes a bed like in the army making it seem as there was no top sheet but its all tucked in so sorry for the mishap. she will be working on improving and making it properly. please come stay again so you can see what we have improved on promise a better stay

They said there would be breakfast. But nothing was out for the 2 days i was there. The hotel hallways and common areas were so excruciatingly hot. I had to leave earlier than expected and requested a call from the manager because they were not available at the time I tried to check out and I never received a call. I called several times and was told they were still unavailable and then the final time they rejected my call. The lady working the counter named Kimmy was very nice but looked very rough hygenically speaking. Carpets are outdated in the room with 1970s green. And there's a lot of stains and holes in the walls. The white linen and towels had a lot of stains on them and made me question they're cleanliness.

We were staying at a 4-star hotel in TN, not only was it expensive, the cleaning crews told us they were too tired to clean all of the hotel daily as they were supposed to, so our room never got serviced until we called, and the staff were distant and not readily accessible nor friendly. Traveling home, we stayed at America’s Best Value Inn & Suites Pinckneyville, IL. Completely different experience. Staff were accessible, from Kimmy to Mit. The hotel was safe, the pool was heated, there were pool toys provided, a game room, breakfast, and best of all clean. well worth the extra miles off the main road. highly recommend this hotel.

Property was easily accessible with plenty of parking.Did not try bar,heated pool or exercise area.These areas were clean and well kept.Loved the Roku TV.Put my info it was like having my home tv with me.Nobody was standing around seemed to have a small but efficient staff who care about the guest.

Adequate but not great.
It is in a decent location and it was a fair price, so that is why I stayed there. But when I got there in the late afternoon my room had not been cleaned yet, so they had to search around for another room. I had asked for an upstairs room, but they couldn’t accommodate me with that. The staff were nice people though. The room was adequate but not great. It was mostly clean at least. The free breakfast in the morning was absolute Crap and no one had even turned the lights on in the dining room or put the chairs down off of the tables. I bet that they are probably not adequately staffed with workers.

Door wouldn’t lock. Front desk was nice and accommodating. Paid for late checkout then got locked out the room. Got charged for a service animal that was on the registration at check out. Noticed all night. Air conditioner plug hanging out the wall. Hole in the bathroom Door.

Nice people, facility needs improvement.
The check in clerk and the bar manager were both very nice. Even they acknowledged that the hotel is "under construction." Such upgrades are needed.

One person running the entire property. Checkin, maintenance, and bartending. People not happy. Elevator broken. Have to use outside stairs. Definitely not recommended

Air conditioner in room 112 is horrible. Turned on at arrival, approximately 5pm, room never cooled properly by check out time 8:30am next morning. Room was prepaid ahead of time, would have expected system to be on due to high heat temperatures.

This place is only convenient for if you have jail visits but other then that i don’t recommend staying here this place is dirty and bug infested. And management didn’t care to do anything about it

Very affordable. Not a lot of staff availability, but the ones there were friendly. The design is a little outdated, however, we were able to get a room that had just been updated and was very nice.
