Wedding weekend in Minnesota
House on the lake was as advertised, a good alternative to a hotel stay for a wedding weekend that was happening nearby. We enjoyed the deck views, kayaking the lake and being able to cook meals while visiting.

Beautiful lake home with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Great location between the Twin Cities and Duluth on a quiet lake. Only complaint is our vacation was too short! We would definitely book this home again.

Great place to get away
We just finished our stay at this property and everyone had a blast. The cabin was every bit as nice as the pictures indicated and the morning sunrises couldn’t be beat. The kids had so much fun playing on the lily pad and swimming and when they needed some downtime, the big tv and Nintendo provided a great activity while we got to enjoy the beautiful evening on the deck. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody looking for a getaway close to the cities.

A Lovely Lake House with a Beautiful View!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Pine City on Cross Lake at the Edgewater Bungalow! The home is well designed with an open kitchen, and dining room. The kitchen has a nice island for preparing food and the dining area contains a large wooden table perfect for family games. The kitchen is well stocked. The only thing we could have used more of were more dish towels and dish soap. Really appreciated all the plastic containers in which to store leftovers and the set of colorful serving bowels. The master bedroom, which is located upstairs, is wonderful! The bathroom has two sinks and the shower is spacious. The mattress is very comfortable, but our favorite part was the trapezoid window which allowed us to look at the moon or watch the clouds drift by. We often ate on the deck which offers incredible views of a portion of the lake. Although the home is lovely, we spent most of our time outside, floating near the dock with our cocktail of the day, kayaking, and playing beanbags down by the water. Our adult kids really appreciated the short trip from the cities, the good Wi-Fi, and the Nintendo Switch. We all appreciated the warm water and the weedless area off the end of the dock. Had plenty of beach towels but could have used more bath towels. One day we rented a pontoon from Pine-toon rental and enjoyed a full day of boating. My husband tried some fishing but wasn’t very successful. Maybe he’ll have more luck when we return next year!

Lake Living with the Comfort of Home
This is the second time our family has stayed. We love a lake vacation but really enjoy our “creature comforts” (dishwasher, washer/dryer, quality bedding, super clean home, etc.). The Edgewater Bungalow has all of that along with so many toys (Lily Pad, Kayaks, Paddle Boards, lawn games, puzzles, board games, Nintendo Switch, and more)…. Our kids ranging from teen to toddler loved all their time here. We were able to rent a pontoon and the person we rented from loved that the dock is plastic so we didn’t have to worry about dinging the boat. We plan to come back again next summer to make more memories.

Our Wine Trip to northern part of MN
My daughter and sister in law and I stayed here for our annual wine trip. Cabin was super nice and clean and updated Love our stay! Beautiful view. We had our morning coffee and meals on the upper deck. So relaxing and very comfortable. We definitely will recommend this place to our friends. The Wineries were great.

Lovely home!
This experience was lovely from the beginning to the end. The home is beautifully decorated and well laid out. It had everything we needed, and then some! The views were beautiful, and a great place for us to visit with some family living in the area. We are particularly picky because we also own rental property and this one hit the ball out of the park! We highly recommend!

Beautiful home on wonderful lake
The house is very nice. Master bedroom is gorgeous. Kids loved the size of the bunk beds and the switch! Easy access to the lake. Loved being able to leave the boat docked all weekend. Home owners are very responsive.

Absolutely Perfect
This was the perfect place for my family to spend the Christmas weekend! The rental was exceptionally clean, the layout of the entire rental worked very well for our group of 7, the kitchen was fully stocked with pretty much everything we needed, check in was simple and straight forward, and the owners were incredibly responsive to our questions prior to arrival. They even put up a Christmas tree for us which made our holiday away from home even more special. We wanted a place close to my parents who live in Pine City and this not only exceeded our expectations but we are already talking about coming back next year in the summer and/or for the holidays again. Fantastic experience.

Great location to host a family Thanksgiving!
We had a great time using this house as one of a few "home bases" for a family reunion. One of the other family members lives on the lake and it was great to house half of us here. The house was well equipped and a perfect setting to host Thanksgiving dinner. The house was right on the lake, a beautiful setting even in November. It looks like it would be an ideal location for summer gatherings. It worked wonderfully for my husband and me, my father in law and our children - it could easily handle two families, if the children want to sleep together in the large, well equipped bunk room. We will definitly keep it in mind if we gather up there again!

Lake vacation 2022
It was a great two weeks. The lake is beautiful. The lake house was comfortable and kitchen wonderful and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms spacious. We were able to dock both boats on the dock with ease. The garage had wonderful water accessories had the kids been older. Pine City was a great find with some wonderful places to eat. Found a great sandy beach in town for the little ones and a park in town was great for them also. Will be returning to the area!

Nice getaway from the cities
The house was very nice and clean and updated. Loved the beds so much that I had to look at the mattress and bought the puffy royal mattress right when I got home. The only complaint is that the lake shore where the cabin is was full of blue/green smelly algae and we couldn’t catch much of anything off the dock that probably being the reason why. I seen in the pamphlet at the home there was supposed to be a pontoon available for rent starting this year and that would be an amazing addition once it’s in place so you can venture away from the algae. The home itself was beautiful and relaxing.

Quiet get away
The house was great! Super clean and functional. In is located in a quiet neighborhood where you feel more local then tourist. Town is really close and you have access to anything you need in a few minutes. The house was well stocked with plush towels and all the soaps and extras you would need. My only drawback is that the outside space is small and even the space around the firepit was tight with kids that need to give the fire a little space. Overall a great getaway!

Perfect getaway
We loved our lake weekend. This home is CLEAN and comfortable. The weather was not perfect but the games and Nintendo Switch kept everyone entertained during the rainy parts of the weekend. We did not get a chance to have a fire but the firepit area was so nice and waking up to the calm lake in the morning was fantastic. Also, everyone raves about the beds and bedding - how comfortable and “luxury” everything felt. We look forward to staying again!

Family and Friend fun
We stayed over the 4th of July. The weather was on/off rain, but there were so many board games to play and movie channels for us to spend time together. Once the weathere cleared, we loved all of the paddle boards, kayak's and lilly pad provides. So much fun. We had a boat so the kiddos tubed and loved every second of it. We also went for a lake cruise - nice and relaxing!! Will definetly look to stay again!

Great stay on Crosslake🎣
We had a great time at Edgewater Bungalow! The owners thought of all the details to make our trip enjoyable. The beds were really comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed fishing, cooking meals, playing games, bonfires, Mario cart, stretching on the yoga mats and crafting. We also took a little outing to 320 Brewery and caught the Lobster Roll food truck and Brownie food truck. We brought our jet ski and loved exploring the lake. We had our extended family there with the youngest being 11 and the oldest being 83. A great place for all ages! Alan was super responsive! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Family getaway
My family had a great week at this lovely cabin. There was a lot to offer for everybody. I will say it is best set up for children older than toddlers, we had to do a bit of chasing and a lot of supervising with all the stairs and different elevations outside. We all loved the beautiful fire pit that sits right next to the lake.

Fun Family Getaway that's Close to the Twin Cities
This cabin is a beautiful place to stay and gets double bonus points for being a little over an hour from the Twin Cities. We rented for Memorial Day weekend, and although the cooler spring prevented us from many water activities, our kids all had a blast. We'll definitely look at staying here again next year!

Beautiful lake home - perfect for a girls weekend
The lake home is beautiful, location perfect and it had everything we needed for our girls weekend. The large table fit our group of 8 perfectly. Kitchen area was spacious and the layout made cooking, prep and visiting at the same time super fun! The bedrooms were very comfortable, linens nice and the towels thick and soft. We enjoyed the fire pit very much, plenty of chairs for everyone too. The owners were VERY responsive! Our group loved everything about this lake home.

Excellent getaway location
Us five ladies stayed for a weekend getaway. Plenty of space and fully equipped kitchen. We did buy some shot glasses while in town to add to the kitchen stock. Maybe some coffee pot directions. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding. Very restful and relaxing accommodations. Grill worked perfectly. Definitely would recommend. Property managers responded within seconds when we had any questions. Thinking about a summer stay. Gorgeous view/place on the lake. Great small town folks and businesses.

Relaxing wintry weekend
A friend and I spent a long girls weekend here for R&R and it was exactly that! The lake was beautiful and serene- the accommodations were spacious, modern and all the comforts of home with a well equipped kitchen. We explored local parks and nearby breweries, and enjoyed reading by the fire in front of the lake. The games and comfy couch with large television was a plus for evening entertainment too. We had a fantastic time!

Great getaway
It was great having three bathrooms for two families of four. Location from the twin cities is fantastic - a little over an hour to a cabin getaway! Fun games and puzzles for the frigid days. Convenient to supplies and shopping but removed enough to truly relax.

Very lovely NYE weekend!
The Edgewater Bungalow was perfect for our NYE getaway with friends: 6 adults and 3 kids (ages 4, 7, 10). We all adored the lake home, plenty of space for all of us but cozy and homey too. It had everything we needed and then some: a big pot for my husband to make his chili, measuring cups, a waffle maker (though we used ours since I brought ours not thinking they'd have one). The master bed was insanely comfortable. It was quite cold out but the kids did trek out to play in the snow & then spent parts of our evenings watching movies downstairs. Adults played cards/boardgames & had drinks upstairs to ring in the new year. Justyna and Alan were quick to respond to all my questions. Would definitely recommend and return here again!

Beautiful house for Christmas!
My fam came to visit me and my husband for Christmas so we needed a larger house to stay at. This house was perfect for us 8 adults! They had a good amount of appliances and tools in the kitchen and plenty of space to hang around. Loved the location across the River. Luckily we had snow so my family and I were able to play and enjoy (they’re first timers!) The only thing was the water from the tap tasted like rusty pipes when we were there. I’d just suggest to get gallons of water. It wasn’t the biggest deal. They had plenty of board games that kept us busy as well! Thanks for having us and we had a wonderful Christmas celebration!

Hey Anj, so glad to hear your family enjoyed the home. For the water, we are up north and on a well, but we have very good filtration system and this is the first I have heard on the taste. I will look into this right away!!

Wonderful Spot for Thanksgiving!
Absolutely perfect for our family to fly in from FL and CO for the holiday! Cooked a whole thanksgiving dinner, anything we forgot they had! The view was perfect, saw bald eagles and beavers. Will be returning in the summer for sure!

Absolutely Perfect!

Perfect Girls Weekend
The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group of ladies. There were 8 of us in total and the house had the perfect amount of space for all of us. The mattresses were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked (popcorn maker for the win!) and the views could not be beat. The weather did not permit any lake activities, but we were still able to go sit on the dock with our coffee. The location was the perfect distance from the twin cities and Pine City had some cute little restaurants/bars. All in all, it was wonderful for our girls weekend.

Perfect StayCation!!
Perfect little getaway for a mom/daughter collective girls trip! There were 8 of us but we could have easily and comfortably slept 2-4 more. The place was spotless, perfect size table for games, high end appliances, and the paddle boards/kayaks were a huge bonus! The beds and pillows were comfy and the bonfire pit/outdoor seating area was so relaxing. Not a ton to do in the area when it is raining but the beautiful home makes up for it! Friends Weekend 2021
Been meetings up with highschool friends for a weekend every year. This was our first time doing it at a vrbo, and to say It was perfect would be an understatement.
