“My wife and I stayed one night at the Babcock House in order to visit the Appomattox Court House. Room was nicely done with a great bathroom with walk-in shower and full bath. Area is quiet and we did a short walk to the nearby train station. Dinner was exceptional.”

“The cabin was very cute, it is really for people who are younger and wants to camp out. For us it was not a good fit. It was discribed as a two room but it’s really only one room with a loft for sleeping. The water pressure is very low and the electric kept going out. My dad has a C-pac so we had to leave and find somewhere else to stay.”

“The location of this property is prime if you are looking for quiet with a yard! Plenty of room in the home for everyone in our party. Beds were really comfortable and a lovely kitchen to cook meals. Had a hiccup with the HVAC, but it was handled very quickly and the owner and property managers were awesome to work with. Would recommend to anyone else, and would consider staying there in the future if we are back in Lynchburg!!”

“Myself, along with my son and daughter-in-law, were in VA for a family wedding. The initial drive to the property off the main road seemed a never-ending series of hills, twists and turns, especially for folks from the city. But, in fact, the trip in/out was only about five minutes. The property itself was great. A two bedroom, one bath on the lower level of a lovely private home. The house is on a hill so we could drive right to our entrance in back. The unit is all on one floor with no steps...

House is in a perfect location to get to downtown and restaurants. Gorgeous views of the river and seeing the trains rolling by was fantastic! Excellent communication with host.
