“Garden like grounds filled with blooming plumeria. Excellent a/c, wifi, nice pool, and on the beach. (Note black sand beach). Negatives - $20 taxi to town. Not much around the hotel except two gas stations with food but no booze. Hotel bar a little pricey but cheaper than taxi. The hotel pushes the $33 morning breakfast but i had toast and coffee for $8 which was all that i wanted. TV is 100% french. Overall a bargain. The beautiful gardens and free range roosters made up for any shortcomings. ”

“Owners are very helpful, informative and friendly! Cozy tropical paradise with a lovely pool and tiki hut for breakfast with microwave. Rooms are comfortable with refrigerators, fans and AC. Walking distance to beach and shops and gas. Safe parking within gated property. Great location near waterfront restaurant.”

“Beautiful Tahitian home, right on the beach! Small pool included. Loved the Tahitian furniture and doors!! We were only able to stay one night, but it would have been so great to stay longer - since its a 2-bedroom, it would make a really nice 4-5 day stay for 2 couples. Wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Stayed for 2 nights pre-cruise. Nice and conveniently located to the port in the center of Papeete. Very clean and new, lovely bathroom and great beds, rooms are large. The pool in the hotel is quite small and there are watercycling-classes for people not staying at the hotel at least 2 times a day, but that seems to be a standard on Tahiti, it was a fact in every place we stayed in. Breakfast and all food/drinks are ridiculously priced, so we did not try it out. There is a gas-station just...

"I had an amazing 2 nights stay at Te Moana Tahiti Resort and will definitely visit again for a longer time. + The location is fabulous, with stunning views of Moorea and the waves breaking over the reefs along the coastline. The staff are relaxed, friendly, and attentive. Special thanks to the lovely staff member who took care of me when I arrived very early in the morning after a 25 hour flight. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing and there’s a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks. There's also a natural ocean pool with corals and colorful fish. Beds are very comfortable. I appreciated the cooking and washing facilities, and of course the spacious terraces. – The vegetarian and vegan food options could be expanded, and it would be great if more drinking water were included in the stay."
