“Unique property for those who seek peace and quiet. Loved roaming around inside the hotel and experiencing the mountain side caverns that lead you to your room. We booked an apartment and it was fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy staying in to eat and watch the sunset. We tried the sushi restaurant the second night and it was fabulous. This is an experience environment catered for someone who wants to be part of an artists culture and enjoy nature. This is a rustic hotel property...

“This hotel is private, exclusive & ideal for relaxing comfort. The owner & staff were highly attentive to guests needs. Facility as a whole including rooms are extremely clean, and comfortable, the food is at another level of superb, and gives that extra touch of an exclusive bed & breakfast vibe, not to mention all the fun one can have with the LGTBQ family; clothing optional. "Mario" the owner is the best. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Small well decorated hotel attended by very friendly people, but with building deficiencies typical of an old construction related to new. The breakfast is good but not very varied. The espresso coffee is of good quality. The only rooms that are worth are those with sea view, but there are only 2. It doesn't have an elevator !”

“The staff was wonderful and good to bounce ideas off of. I was comfortable here and the places is easily walkable to beaches on each side of the city along with plenty of bars and restaurants. I enjoyed Punta del Este more than Montevideo despite being a bit of a history guy and generally liking capital cities. Also, Jose Ignacio is a short trip up the coast and it's absolutely beautiful there.”
