“I stayed here for 1 night as it was close to a conference I needed to attend. Nice enough hotel from the outside, the rooms were quite dated and quite small. Quite noisy, you could hear the people in the room next door. The hotel room door lock kept getting stuck, which was a fire hazard, I couldnt lock the deadlock at night, the staff came and fixed this immediately, but still not good these things should be checked. “Overall this is a good value hotel. For me it worked well as I had been workign in Milton Keynes and was flying from Heathrow on business the next day. It was well priced, accessible and serivce was good. Room was comfortable - if a bit dated. Food was good, bar staff were great, tv had Champions League match I wanted to watch. “This is one of the hotels near the airport used by Airlines and other groups to spend the night between flights. As such it is rather ok, but do not expect a especially exciting neighbourhood. Beds are comfortable and big, the rooms quite large and the bathroom up to a decent standard.”

“The accommodation was spotlessly clean and every little detail was thought about! From milk in the fridge to a hot chocolate station for the kids! Collecting the eggs and feed for the animals was a lovely touch! ”

“The AC doesn't work and I couldn't open the window so you had to sleep completely without a blanket. The mainstay on the water in the shower does not work so the water commutes from ice-cold to super heat so that you get burns. Then they were wedding party under the room so they were like staying in a disco. Could might be the worst hotel stay I've been through.”

“Really lovely hotel with charm and personality. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and proper window blinds made the room dark for sleeping. Breakfast was really nice, basic range of alternative but everything was nicely cooked and of good quality. Lovely setting by the river, lots of restaurants nearby and a 5-minute walk to the main shopping street. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!”

“We had some really nice days at Clivedon House. If anything, we didn't really fancy Astor Grill and would have welcomed a larger choice of eating places. A place to buy some small stuff like chocolate bars, soft drinks and beer/wine would also have been nice. Apart from these details we were very happy with our stay. The walks that the surroundings are offering are really very nice with a lot of history to it.”
