“Hello! We stayed for 3 nights at this agroturismo, and I’d like to share my personal experience. This isn’t my first time at such a property, so I have some expectations. PROS: The highlight? The three adorable dachshunds living on the property—definitely worth three stars just for them! The outdoor area is beautiful, complete with a pool and a variety of animals in the backyard. “A national rail strike in Italy on the day we were supposed to arrive upended all our plans, resulting in our arriving very late. The hotel accommodated our late arrival so we were able to check in with no problems. Beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast”

“We chose Pistoia as the base for a two-day visit to Florence. This plan worked great. Hosts Carlo and Lucia have a quirky compound located a short walk from the train station. We parked our rental car for the duration, and used the regional train service (frequent and cheap) to get to Florence. (Ask Carlo about his motorcycle collection.)
