Design and comfort really matter to us and we hope that you find the cottage not only provides the perfect base for your Highland getaway but the perfect home to come back to. Behind the cottages, Tulliemet moor opens up and a three-mile track over the moor leads out to Loch Broom.

Escape to the Highlands

So good, I’d rather keep it a secret. A good location in the highlands to tour around other places especially historic sites around Perth. Equally convenient for walking in the Cairngorms or visiting Inverness.

Fabulous and very comfortable cottage with an amazing view

We loved the cottage. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and tastefully furnished. The lane up to it is rather long and bumpy but when you arrive you realise it is worth it as you are rewarded with a sensational view.

Excellent accommodation with everything you need. Good kitchen, stunning bathroom and very cosy and charming. WiFi was excellent so mo issues streaming. Location was quiet with a great view. Plenty of walking options with the dog.

The views? Stunning The location? Picturesque, out in the open yet close enough to everything you’d need The welcome? More than good, with Yvonne being a warm, attentive and accommodating host The cottage? Very beautiful, spacious and with a very homely feel The cleanliness? Spot on! Beautiful location

Gorgeous lodge on the edge of the Cairngorms. The lodge was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Huge bathroom with a large bath and separate shower as well as two sinks. The kitchen was well equipped with a good sized fridge freezer. Comfortable lounge with a great log burner. Decent WiFi allowed us to use the internet and to streaming services without any problems.

Lovely house in stunning surroundings

This house is warm, very comfortable and has everything you need for a relaxing break. It was spotless when we arrived and the furnishings are very high quality. Beautiful big bathroom with a bath that fits two and also has his and her facilities! Lovely woodland walks burning stove in the lounge area. Stunning views from the front garden and lovely woodland walks in the doorstep. Close to all of the local Perthshire towns for exploring the area…. Dunkeld, Aberfeldy, Pitlochry and Perth. Can’t recommend highly enough. Yvonne and Graham who work for the estate were welcoming, and very friendly and happy to advise of local activities. We will definitely be back.

What a view...

Modern well equipped cottage with plenty of living space and great views. Activities on the estate were very well organised with Douglas, the guide being very knowledgable and excellent company.

Lovely cottage in a great location

This is a great cottage for two people, nicely furnished and decorated with lovely views. It feels rural, with walks right outside your door, but it is also ideally located for visiting locations such as Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Aberfeldy. We would happily go back.

Lovely Stay in Comfortable Cottage

Just returned from a fabulous holiday staying in Blairinraish West. The cottage was comfortable, clean and warm, which was very much appreciated as the weather didn’t get much above freezing and the week ended with Storm Bert. The view from the cottage is wonderful and the walks from the door are varied and beautiful. A perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday and I’m sure we will return!

Enjoyed our stay and loved the location. Maybe an idea to mention steep stairs in cottage, we found them ok but others may not. We would gladly return although we accept the road up to Blairinraish is private and a country lane it could benefit from some attention and this is a negative for us. Otherwise thank you very much for a lovely few days escape!

Amazing accommodation

We were very impressed with the high standard of accommodation at Blairinraish West. Everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The views from the from the cottage were unbelievable, especially on the frosty mornings. We received a warm welcome when we arrived and our contact with everyone involved with our stay was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Perfect holiday, no complaints at all.

We had a fabulous week at Blairinraish West. It was so clean and cosy with an amazing view. It was everything we hoped for, walks on our doorstep, relaxation but lovely towns and scenery nearby. The cottage is the best we've ever stayed in. It was well-equipped and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. The housekeeper was extremely helpful and friendly without being intrusive. We highly recommend this cottage.

Perfect stay in perfect circumstances!

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay at Blairinraish West. The view, the location, the luxury standard of the house, the friendliness of housekeeper Yvonne & her husband Graeme! Everything just perfect if you want to be in touch with nature and relax from your everyday busy life... 20 minutes from Pitlochry and Dunkeld where you've got everything you need like restaurants, pubs, supermarket, butcher, etc. If you book this place, you won't regret!

Beautiful cottage in a spectacular location.

This is a beautiful place to stay, for both ourselves and our dog. Lots of walking on the door step, and many different places to visit in the local area. The cottage was clean, really cosy and comfortable, with excellent facilities. Lovely greeting and very accommodating, we were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much. Very quiet, and off the beaten track, with the most stunning views. We would have no hesitation in recommending Blairinraish West to friends and family.

Lovely cottage in stunning location

Cottage was very well presented and equipped with a good enclosed garden for our dog. Great layout and amenties in the cottage. Only downside was that you have to follow a single dirt track road that’s very bumpy with potholes for a couple of miles to get there. If this had been clear in the description we would not have booked it.

Holiday at Blairinraish West Cottage

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in this fabulous little cottage,super comfy,fabulous views and walks on the doorstep with our dogs.We eat at our cottage every night,with lovely produce from local butchers,bakers & grocers,the kitchen was well equipped & the veiw from the dining table was amazing.The bathroom is stunning with a large bath and separate shower,and also separate toilet downstairs in utility. The free entry into Blair Caste & grounds was very smooth are name was down and our tickets were waiting,a stunning day out.To sum up my Husband & I and our dogs had a fabulous week away and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Top class accommodation

We adored our stay at Blairinraish West. Arriving at the cottage we were astounded by the view and it didn't fail to take our breathe for the remaining days. The cottage is cosy but spacious, something you can't typically say about a cottage! We enjoyed the luxurious bathroom and bedroom which felt more like a modern hotel suite. The cottage had everything we needed - the only thing we think would make it more perfect would be a radio or music system, to listen to music whilst sitting enjoying the view with a coffee each morning at the kitchen window.

Peace and quiet

I LOVED Blairinraish West. It is a tastefully and thoughtfully decorated 18th century cottage high up in Tulliemet. The finishes and fittings are all very high quality. The bed was most comfortable and the bathroom very large, with a wonderful bathtub to soak in. The kitchen was well equipped and with the great view it was where I spent alot of time. The views across the hills of Tulliemet and down the Tay Valley are nothing short of spectacular. Yvonne was so lovely - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I hope to be able to come back during warmer weather to enjoy the setting and the absolute peace and quiet.

Beautiful getaway cottage

We booked Blairinraish West to visit Scotland for a family wedding. It did not disappoint and was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable with high-quality amenities to self-cater. All the little touches in how each room was decorated for flair and for function did not go unnoticed. We received useful communication in advance of our stay to help us reach the destination and whenever we called housekeeping with queries, she was really helpful. Such a lovely place that we wouldn't mind living there all the time. The only downside for us is that we are used to warmer climate and central heating coming from London and the heating was great upstairs whenever we switched it on but the heating downstairs was a bit temperamental. Nonetheless, we managed with the making a fire and just about made do with the available wood logs, etc. We'd be happy to revisit and book this cottage if travelling to the Blair Atholl or neighbouring areas. The nature and wildlife is amazing and we didn't have enough time to enjoy because of the wedding but maybe a trip back in summer would be good.
