Hillbilly Hut i södra Georgien

Hillbilly-kojan ligger inbäddat i södra Georgia djupt i jordbrukslandet. Det kommer att bli en perfekt helg komma bort från storstadslivet eller ett snabbt liv. Dessutom betyder öppna himmel på natten stjärna som tittar på vilket är ett måste i denna del av staten. Detta är en fantastisk plats att koppla av och njuta av kvalitetstid med vänner och familj, och husdjur är välkomna. Gästerna uppmuntras också att ta med en golfvagn för att utforska milen av grusvägar medan de tittar på scenerna med vilda djur och skörden av jordnötter och bomullsgrödor. Besök med nötkreatur och kycklingar under ditt besök i det lugna landet. Och under oktober kan du besöka Georgia National Fair bara 45 minuter bort.

My favorite place in Pitts!

Scott and his wife do a super job of making the hillbilly hut, a warm and inviting place. If you want quiet, cozy, and tranquil with the country feel this is a perfect place for you.

Always wonderful

This is our second year staying at the Hillbilly Hut and we enjoyed it just as much the second time and hope to make it a yearly experience. The owners are so kind and the place is exactly what we wanted. A place to unplug and enjoy family.

One night stay

A little confusing on location as the map did not give an accurate location. But was fast and easy to get ahold of owner and our stay was just fine. Nice quiet place if looking to stay and relax. We only crashed for the night so didn’t explore the area or property.

A small quiet cottage in the country. Roosters crowing, Cows mooing, Birds chirping. So restful. Scott is a wonderful host. We had a wonderful time and plan to be back!!!

A Relaxing Restful Country Retreat

This property has definitely been one of our better stays. The place is evidently clean and well kempt from the moment you first walk in. There is simply nothing better than enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch in the early morning. Scott is an amazing caretaker and bends over backwards to make sure that you have a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful All Around

The entire experience was peaceful. The host was very caring and helpful. Everything we needed from grocery bags to placemats, coffee etc. Wide open farmland, and a trip to Pitts to buy hand-pressed sunflower oil was a high point for me. We also enjoyed kayaking at Lake Blackshear.

Hillbilly Hut Heaven!

From the second you turn into the driveway it feels like home. The owners take such good care of the property and there's the most beautiful giant rose bush near the back porch. Everything is a delight. The house is super clean and has adorable decorations plus there's plenty of games to play that are provided. I just can't say enough nice things about Scott and Georgianna, they really are wonderful people and you'll never want to leave. I can't wait until we can come back next year

Lovely location

My wife and I stayed at the this house just one night as a rest stop. The VRBO link for gps did not take us to the proper spot, but communication with the owner was quick and easy fix. Quiet location on a farm. No wifi, but cell service was good still. Also shower is not a normal height so be ready to squat a little if you’re taller than 5’11. Very clean and inviting. Front porch was perfect to sit on and watch the sunrise. None of the above will stop us from coming back. Next time we may stay longer. I still highly recommend.

Quiet hideaway

Property was as described. A great place to get away and unwind. Loved sitting on the screened in porch with a cup of coffee and listening to the roosters and cows in the distance. There were plenty of board games to enjoy with family or friends. The house was well equipped. Our fur babies felt at home as well. Scott, the Property manager was very personable and helpful. The only hiccup was the GPS lead is in the wrong direction and took us to the wrong house, but one phone call and we got to our destination.

Two bedroom house (HUT). Large kitchen\Dining room. Large Living room. Rustic in nature but updated. Large yard\farm. Used the grill 4 night. Marinate some chicken\chops\burgers before you come. Fire pit out back but was just too hot to use. Firewood provided. Extremely clean. Just not any negatives. Very nice hosts. They live on the same property but distance enough to be private. We will use again if we have to stay near there again. E n J

What a great place in rural Georgia. My wife and I love the area and the house. The owner, Scott, is also great. We highly recommend it, and we will be back again next year!

Battery Recharged!

The Hillbilly Hut was the perfect place to recharge my battery! My daughter & grandkids enjoyed the fire pit and we all had fun playing the vintage life game! The hosts made sure we had everything we needed! We definitely recommend Hillbilly Hut!
