Rooftop terrace with sea view in Pizzo old town

The apartment is located in the old town 1 minute walk from the heart of Pizzo (and Piazzan) and a further short walk you are down at Pizzo Marina where the sea meets Café, Restaurants, bars and Pizzo local beach.

The apartment is renovated few years ago in an old building with a nice rooftop terrace and 2 balconies. You can enjoy outdoor life both during the day and evening.
The master bedroom facing the ocean and you find a good kitchen and living area with view.

About the apartment:
If you like access to a roof terrace and two balconies in a well equipped apartment with a beautiful view of the ocean and the old towns Piazza around the corner this is the place for you!
You will live in the middle of the old town and Italians daily life, a short walk to the local beach and all the restaurants, ice cream shops and bars.
You will enter the apartment by two stairs on the third floor. From the hallway you enter the combined kitchen and living area.

Kitchen is well equipped for 4 people, with gas stove, oven, dishwasher, combined fridge and freezer, washing machine, boiler, toaster, lots of kitchen supplies. Shortly everything you need to prepare and set the table for a nice dinner at home.

The living area has one sofa and a armchair in front of the TV and a fireplace. Their is also a table fit for four people. From the living area you can open up a big glass door to the balcony or use the double balcony doors. On the balcony you find a small table and two chairs. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the old town and the sea.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed 180x200, wardrobe and two beautiful balcony doors facing the ocean. Outside a balcony.

The second bedroom is smaller and has a double size bed 160x200, dresser, clothes hangers.

Bathroom has a good size shower, toilet and towel hangers.

A small stair leads up to the rooftop terrace. It has two sun beds, parasol and a dinner table for four people. The rooftop gives you a unique view of the old town, the sea and is private.
It has sunshine from early morning to a beautiful sunset in the sea just in front of the terrace in the evening.

This apartment is well-equipped and offers a comfortable stay for 4 people. Wifi is available throughout the apartment.

It’s a NO SMOKING apartment!

In the apartment, you'll also find a parasol, beach blanket, cooling bag etc. Many of the beaches here have public areas but during the peak season you also have the option to rent (not at local beach) both sun beds and parasols.

The renting price includes one (1) set of linens, one (1) beach towel, one (1) shower towel, one (1) hand towel per person.

Electricity:
Depending on consumption.
You pay electricity usage during your stay. The cost of electricity is paid at checkout when the apartment is undergoing a final inspection. Guests electricity consumption varies greatly depending on number and guests and how AC or heating is used. At moment cost for electricite is very high, don't use Aircondition if you leave apartment or don't need it, cost can be high.

Apartment is located in the middle of the old town Pizzo. There is no private parking space, there are municipal parking spaces, some free and others with payment.

Note! At high season and depend on time at the day it can be difficult to find Parking near apartment especially July-August and also part of September, we have tip for free parking but it can take 5-8 minutes walk.

From the apartment it’s a short walk to the Piazza and small shops, bakery, fruit and wine shops.
To Pizzo Marina it’s a 5-10 min walk downhill from the apartment.
If you walk 10 min uphill from the apartment you find Pizzo main road Via Nationale. There you find supermarkets, gas station and more shops with fruit, vegetables, cheese and bakery’s.
So if you don’t mind small walks it’s easy to let your car stay parked.

Pizzo also offers Tuk-Tuk as small taxis so if you don’t want to walk it’s easy. You will find them around Pizzo or at their start point at the Piazza.

Due to extremely varying costs for Electricity, all use of electricity is added and paid for by the individual guest depending on consumption. Remember not to leave the air conditioning switched on when you leave the apartment as it affects a large part of your electricity consumption.

From October to May, there is also the cost of consuming gas for example, heating, fire place, hot water.

It is important to understand that there few times may be problems in the old town with interruptions for water supply (especially at high season) for same reason there is a reserve tank of about 350 liters of water.

About the neighborhood:
Here you get a taste of the Italian daily life, Pizzo offers daily lives of Italians, start the day with an Cappuccino at the Piazza with something sweet (about 3€)

In the streets you can buy from fruit & vegetable shops or directly from the farmer through trunk, Sundays are usually a day when some small local farmers come to sell their tomatoes, zucchini or courgette flowers and lots of other vegetables, you will find them on Pizzo main road Via Nationale.
On Thursdays there is a market selling clothes and fruit and vegetables and cheeses.

Pizzo is famous for ice cream, so you will find gelaterias in every corner. All of them has their specialties and their own kind of Tartufo.

The coastline called Costa degli Dei has beautiful beaches.

If you rather prefer walks in a lovely nature you have Sila National Park that offers good trails for walking and mountain biking.

It’s easy to take the local train to the coastline areas and it leaves from Pizzo Station. Approximately 15-20 min walk from the apartment.
